QUESTIONS THAT COME TO MY MIND :
1) Does the word — Treason have any meaning anymore in our laws ? Or is it an antiquated idea ?
2) Seeing that he is a US Citizen, does he get Miranda rights and a Civil trial ?
In their eyes he is probably an American patriot.

Gadahn intrigues me, and I hope that much of his real story comes out - though I suspect we will get very little actual information.
Gadahn is Jewish (born Adam Perlman) by heritage, which has always been a bit if a mystery for me. Clearly, he renounced whatever religion and worldview he was raised with and converted to radical Islam. I find it strange that al-Qaeda or any radical outfit would associate itself with a Jew. Gadahn can call himself whatever he wants, would not radical Muslims still see him as a Jew?
Like John Lindh, Perlman seems to be another Californian raised in a liberal secular household who filled his empty soul with whatever seemed purposeful and radical to him. When I was 14 my father hit the roof because I got an earring and listened to loud punk music. I cannot imagine a family accepting - even encouraging - their son’s descent into a cult member of a hateful ridiculous ideology. Liberals... If he had wanted to be a skinhead and join the Klan, they’d have stopped him. But becoming a radical Muslim apparently was a nice multicultural hobby for their son.
I sure hope he’s been read his Miranda rights.

What does the future hold for Adam? Convicted of treason? Executed? Life in Super Max?
Under the Obama administration, I think it’s more likely he’ll be walking around as a free man as a hero to the Left, going to Oscar soirees, doing commentary on MSNBC and signing a $10 million book deal.
He will probably be offered a job in the msnbc line-up.
I’m sure that the Pakistanis will turn him over to Obama for a criminal trial in NY. But what did he do? Exercise his freedom of speech? I don’t think that will get one vote for the government in his Supreme Court appeal.
Terrific! Now, we need to get that other American “al Ameriki” in Somalia.
