Typical of cops afraid or incompetent to do their REAL job!

Not a criminal prosecution, just a civil matter, so the jack booted thugs can do what they want, like make you prove you are not violating the law.
This is forcible tax collection.

but is it possible to sign away your rights? On the face, I would say no, it should not be, but then you get into intricacies such as non disclosure agreements, etc.
Then again, is the state really violating a "right" by raiding your business after you've been reported violating a (ridiculous) state law? There is plenty of precedent to say that what they are doing is legal, see also BSA raids for software piracy.

***That has NOTHING to do with Joe McCarthy or Communist “witchhunts” (which found REAL Communists).***
You’re absolutely right! I was with the woman until I realized that there are STILL people dumb enough to believe McCarthy was on a witch hunt.

It’s selective enforcement when hundreds of stores are selling the same brands.
Someone dropped a dime on them.

I’m 100% with you. It’s BS.

About as long as it would take a dozen or so of 'em to "Kevlar up", don their "Raid Jackets", load their guns, and convoy to your house. That drive to your house could take a while. I saw a convoy of city and county LEOs followed by the Viewscenter van driving in circles around the neighborhood for about an hour looking for an address.

Interestingly enough the 7th Amendment applies to non-criminal prosecutions/trials.

the cops seized four kegs and 317 bottles, totaling 60.9 gallons of beer, according to police calculations. The cops made a beer run ,start of a great party

The cops confiscated hundreds of bottles of expensive ales and lagers, now in State Police custody at an undisclosed location. Maybe that big party at the donut shop might be a clue?

There was a time when Pennsylvania law enforcement had less of a problem with inbreeding than Arkansas and West Virginia, but not anymore.
Officers in charge not comprehending there has been a screw up weeks later and after litigation has started is the order of the day.

How about 'Palmer-like', from the Palmer raids under Woodrow Wilson (D).

If my family started their own still to make ethanol for runnign thier vehicles, how long before the Revenuers would show up to cart them all to jail? It is legal to make ethanol for fuel. That doesn't mean they wouldn't try to bust you for it but it is legal.

Based on a complaint from someone the State Police refuse to identify. No doubt one of their competitors. What ever happened to the right to face your accuser? I guess that went the way of "innocent until proved guilty".
