Chris Matthews tries to save Dan by interrupting, here is Rather's remark regarding President Obama:

But that is just it - a conservative would never say it...how in the wide wide world of sports did he come up with that? is it a saying somewhere? or did he come up with that all by himself?
Sometimes they rip a conservative to shreds whenever anyone says something this stupid. They may portray him as a Rush/Beck listener, right-wing terrorist...
I am trying to imagine Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck saying such a thing. They would have death threats by now.
I know that is photoshopped simply because I have grown many a watermelon and I have sold them by the pickup load. That looks like a thirty five pounder and Obama couldn’t carry that much weight with both arms, let alone nestled in the crook of his left arm like that.
Rush had a lot of fun with Rather and Massa’s statements today. I considered it a top of the year show so far.

“Obama counldn’t sell lap top computers for fifty dollars on a college campus at mid terms.”
“Obama could sell candy outside a fat farm on Saturday night.”
“Obama couldn’t sell tires on a Georgia dirt road after a rain.”
