Communism returns in Sochi, Russia for Olympics (some things never change)

Watching the Olympics closing ceremony last Sunday, a video clip for the upcoming 2014 winter games in Sochi, Russia aired. Shockingly among the Russian scenes was the Communist sculpture ‘ Worker and Kolkhoz Woman‘ featuring the dreaded hammer and sickle. It’s very disturbing how these images of oppression and murder, the darkest periods of modern history are to be glorified in the spirit of the Olympics:

Goes to show that not much has really changed in Russia. Meet the new boss, same as the old Boss!!

Don’t worry, the Russians will be very embarrassed in their own country. Did you see their pathetic showing this time around?

Medvedev, I’m sure would have loved to do more than scold the parties responsible, but I read that the Russian Olympic team bosses were all paid-up Putin cronies.

Nevertheless, if he was Saddam, he would have had the athletes at least tortured a little.

The point is that the US should not be there at all.

That's why there is a petition, as well as a motion by to congressmen to find a different venue for the games

Funny how the Olympics are supposed to be non-political. That is, unless you are a leftist, then anything goes.

By the time Sochi is held, Russia may no longer exist as it is. It may be the USSR again.

Oh it still has lots of soviet style olympics written all over it.
Rocking it old school commie style, Putin and his crew of ex-KGB Kremlin billionaires seized all the land at the Sochi site for themselves. Literally, sent in the goon squads on the multi-generational farmers who lived and worked the land there. All kicked out without a dime of compensation. The budget has now jumped past 6 billion because they have to build the entire facilities, infrastructure for water and waste, and olympic village from scratch. Don’t even get me started on the amount of corruption and organized crime that will be involved as well trying to pull this off. Sochi, the day before the games were given to Russia, was nothing more than a farming valley with a couple of ancient ski runs with creaky low speed lifts.

But after the games are over, Putin and his thugs will own the entire thing.

But it was amusing to listen to their head of olympics program spin the performance disaster in Vancouver, which included, “What do you expect? We can’t dope anymore!” Yes, he went there.
Hope they have an even worse medal count in Sochi.

If they can’t get Putins recently elected lapdog in Ukraine to force a renew of the Black Sea fleet port by the time the games is happening, expect the Russians to pull on Crimea the same thing they did to Georgia within a year of the games completing.
After those games, then its time to increase mother Russia again.

The skiing facility at Sochi SUCK! They don’t even have a NASTAR hill. They are supposed to host a Europa Cup race next year and 2 World Cups the year after. NOTHING is anywhere ready. There are no knowledgeable course workers and EVERYBODY will have to be flown in! OMG, there is no functioning snow making and the climate is the same as Vancouver!

They figure everything will be pointing in that direction at that point. We’ll be too weak to fight it, and too stupid to notice by then...

Putin’s Lapdog will not only give the port back, but he will reintegrate the Ukrainian Army back into the Russian army.

That's a piece of cake!
Soon, on May 9, you will see what is Russian reality and dream rolling on the red Square. What's more, you will see tens (maybe hundreds) of world leaders kowtowing to Stalin as a WWII victorious leader. God be praised my government will not take part in this blasphemous cult of evil. Many millions of Poles were murdered by Stalin and his henchmen while Poland was under a bloody communist occupation till 1989.

When the date comes, don't look for a Polish delegation among those on the Red Square as you will never see Polish leaders worshiping Nazis or communists. We (thanks God I can say that) do not bow before and worship the biggest butchers of mankind.

Perhaps, the world will criticize Poland.
Perhaps, Poland "will be irresponsible" again.
Perhaps, we wil be publically accused of innate antirussian sentiments. Perhaps!

However, one thing is for sure. Poland we will be one of the few countries not hiding their faces when kneeling before God on the Judgment Day.We were born to serve Christ, to praise the Lord not idols and Noblesse oblige, as the saying goes.

The above is "written" in the internation Polish language understood on all over the world without any translations :-)

By the way, here's an excerpt of the Constitution of Poland, the only one in the world that bans communist ideology in the public life.

Article 13

Political parties and other organizations whose programmes are based upon totalitarian methods and the modes of activity of nazism, fascism and communism, as well as those whose programmes or activities sanction racial or national hatred, the application of violence for the purpose of obtaining power or to influence the State policy, or provide for the secrecy of their own structure or membership, shall be prohibited.
