Sarah Palin raising cash for John McCain
Politico ^ | 3/8/10 | Andy Barr

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is helping out her former running mate with a high dollar fundraiser at the Arizona Biltmore.

Palin will be courting contributions for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) – the GOP’s 2008 presidential nominee – on March 23 as part of her swing through Arizona to aide his re-election campaign.

For $2,500, McCain donors can attend an hour-long reception with the former GOP vice presidential nominee and get a chance for a picture with Palin.

Those not attending the reception can pay $500 each for a two-hour dinner, or $1,000 for preferred seating.

Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), along with Arizona GOP Reps. Jeff Flake, Trent Franks and John Shadegg will also be at the fundraiser.

Supporting Perry was certainly questionable. But again, if she has the courage of her convictions, one has to respect her for this.

I can support a politician without supporting every stand he takes.

I am working for DeVore in California. He has an ACU rating of about 85%. But, he is a global warming guy. I think global warming is a crock.

But I’m still supporting DeVore.

I supported W. I don’t like his Medicare entitlement AT ALL, nor his pro-amnesty stuff. I still think he is one of the best presidents we ever had.

I supported Reagan. I think his amnesty position was a big loser. But he’s still my main guy.

If you wait around for a politician that will do ONLY and ALL of your agenda, you will wait for a very long time.

Oh, an endorsement of a candidate is a support for every legislative position that candidate ever had?

If I say I admire and endorse Ronald Reagan, does that mean I supported his retreat from Lebanon, and his granting of amnesty to illegals? Or does it mean that I admire him and endorse his positions ‘on balance’, thinking our points of agreement outweighed the points of disagreement?

SP gets a pass no matter what. Just read the posts. She’s been very successful in promoting herself and creating a cult of personality. Whatever she does is OK and beyond criticism. Reminds me a little of.....

People who put so much faith in politicians are bound to be severely disappointed sooner or later.

Maybe Sarah should write "don't get RINOs elected" on her palm.

Well, that does it. What I thought was a rumor, appears to be true.

No it isn’t. She is openly supporting McCain. I like Palin, but the truth is the truth.

If McAmnesty is re-elected, Sarah will be as popular as ants at a picnic.

Not among the true believers. To them, she can do no wrong.

Sarah needs to fill her schedule up real quick and leave as little time as possible for McLame.

We all know that the MSM is out to get Sarah and here we simply have a vague story about an unsubstantiated rumor that Sarah is doing a direct fundraiser for McCain.

Lol, this 'unsubstantiated' rumor has been a news item, and on the McCain schedule for several weeks now. Announced several weeks ago that Sarah would be in attendance.

Absolutely right. And so does someone like Lindsey Graham, if he thinks it’s ok to give citizenship to illegals, right?

Why yes she does. I would think since she should know as well of all of us that McCain is a loser and certainly no conservative. I also have a right to say she is behaving like a RINO and talking like a conservative.

Sounds like McCain at election time.

Very Disappointing.

Like she said at the National Tea Party Convention,
“No person (candidate) is perfect”.

Well I knew that, but didn’t expect that this would be the area that she would be found lacking.
