WASHINGTON, March 9 (Reuters) - About 16 percent of Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 are infected with genital herpes, making it one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases, U.S. health officials said on Tuesday.
Black women had the highest rate of infection at 48 percent and women were nearly twice likely as men to be infected, according to an analysis by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
About 21 percent of women were infected with genital herpes, compared to only 11.5 percent of men, while 39 percent of blacks were infected compared to about 12 percent for whites, the CDC said.
There is no cure for genital herpes, or herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2), which can cause recurrent and painful genital sores and also increases the likelihood of acquiring and transmitting the AIDS virus. It is related to herpes simplex virus 1, or oral herpes, which causes cold sores.

This is so wrong on so many levels that I hardly know where to start.
Lets start with progressive education system and a Progressive Media that has made it all possible.
The weakening of Moral Standards leads to problems. EVERY TIME sooner or later. There is a reason why various societies have developed them. They guide conduct in a way to make people safer and healthier generally speaking.
The liberal progressives are, and have been, eroding moral standards deliberately. They think they are doing so in the name of freedom, and never recognize that there is a PRICE in the end for making sexual activity in persons who do NOT have the life knowledge and maturity to make adult decisions (let alone ones that can have life consequences like pregnancy and SDT’s) acceptable. No, it seems they actually desire it, look at what they expose kids to on TV and the internet! There is ZERO restraint. There are a vast number of people and kids who go, in their online relationships, so far from what is normal restraint in real life. With the kids, they get used to that lack of restraint online, its a simple step for them to take it into real life and practice what they talk and text about.
Have you heard about the problem of “Sexting”? Well, and this is from my local police department, the problem is HUGE. Teens taking nude photos of themselves and sending them to others. Once that happens, it can be anywhere, and child pornographers trade the images. Once its on the internet, or sent to another phone its everywhere, just ask some of the NBA Basketball players who recently found naked pictures of themselves online. Pictures they had taken themselves! It’s a big problem. The Teens are underage, and that’s child porn. If they send it to someone else, THEY are practicing child porn, what are the police to do? Arrest 2/3rds of a high school? It really IS that big a problem. In so many ways, when it shows up online, it can’t ever be taken off.
That’s going to come back and haunt the kids doing this. But they don’t get that, and they don’t get that their “Freedom” is hurting them. But HEY! it’s all ok because nothing is wrong or over the line in the progressive world, just go clean the mess up afterward right? Treat the STD’s, “Educate” the kids as to all the graphic details regarding STD’s so they won’t do it, thereby desensitizing them just that much more. Perform the murder of an unborn child because the mother is 14... its all ok in the Progressive’s world. (Do I need the sarc tag... nah)
The Destroying a society’s moral value system, can destroy a society. It doesn’t happen over night. Its a generational destruction, it creeps slowly up and eats away at society’s foundations until it collapses.
Liberalism isn’t just a mental disorder. Progressivism isn’t progression. It’s REgression. It HURTS people, even as it claims so wrongly to be champions of freedom. Progressivism is just flat out WRONG.

Its amazing to recognize what they are saying when you parse out the meaning in the language. Its sickening really.
Do people just gloss over the words, not realizing that the guy is saying the elevated rate among blacks is essentially caused by the elevated rate among blacks? Has the whole world gone completely stupid?
Not sure if to trust those rates from the CDC. Nevertheless having little gremlins growing and itching in the genital area would be dreadful. No danke.
I would guess so.... You can find examples like this all over the place. They are telling the truth, but they are literally putting it in a way that makes it seem like something acceptable.
When you parse the language.... How is it that more people don’t notice this?

That's bunk advice. Condoms do not protect against herpes, which can be transmitted leg to leg, from the mouth, and many other ways. There is no effective risk management other than choosing fewer partners carefully.

PD James’ “Children of Men” pretty much predicts a time when females can no longer conceive in the normal way.
That time might arrive sooner rather than later.
