Florida: Romney 52, Huckabee 21, Palin 18 (Barf)

We’ve done a million posts about this three-way match-up but I don’t think we’ve done one yet about a key swing state. Not what I would have predicted. Florida’s the first really important stop on the GOP calendar that we’ve looked at, and Romney’s lead there is overwhelming. He gets 52% to 21% for Huckabee and 18% for Palin. It’s closer, but still a double digit advantage, in Colorado. There Romney gets 44% to 25% for Palin and 17% for Huckabee.

Its possible, Palin could be the Fred Thompson of 2012 should she run. She would generate lots of excitement at first, then possibly fizzle out by NH. I guess the Palin fans would go to whoever candidate Palin endorses should she fizzle out.

We Palin supporter’s goal is to defeat Obama.
It is up to the rest to get onboard or
look for another 4 years of Obama.

Fred Barnes and Bill Kristol are touting Rick Perry as a fresh face for 2012. Tim Pawlenty says Perry is a man who could make an impact on the national scene. However LArry Sabato was in Houston last weekend. Spoke with other political science professors. These professors doubted White could beat Perry, but chuckled at the idea of Rick Perry being President.

If Romney wins the nomination and you hold to your statement, they you have voted for King Obama. Many of you just don't get it, we will have no perfect candidate so our best bet to save what we can of America is take the lesser of the two evils. Which are you for?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Straw man, often used by the RINO wing of the Republican party.

I've voted for every Republican for president since Reagan. Almost stayed home in 2008, but voted McCain only because he picked Palin.

Conservative Republicans need to make it clear that a RINO is not electable, and if enough do so, it will discourage RINO's from seeking office and will reduce their support amongst "moderate" Republicans. If Republicans keep talking like you, we will be doomed to see another generation of un-electable RINO nominees.

I'll make this perfectly clear: if Romney is the Republican nominee, I absolutely promise that I will not vote for him--no matter who his VP pick is, no matter who the DemonRat nominee is. I will never vote for Romney.

As the saying goes, you can't beat somthin' with nuthin'

Romney stands alone as the only major GOP figure who ran for President in 2008 who is plainly available in 2012. Until Huckabee, Palin, and other potential 2012 GOP candidates make their intentions clear, Romney is and will be the most plausible choice for President.

If Palin runs, she won’t be running against obama. She’ll be running against other Republicans ... starting in the Ames Straw Poll, Iowa caucuses, and primaries ... New Hampshire, SC, FLA.

She won’t do well unless her coalition expands. In those specific states.

You know the lamestream is going to try to nominate either Mittens or Schmuckabee to help insure an Obummer re-election.
It will insure many conservatives stay home.

Did Romney endorse KBH or did he hide in the shadows like he normally does until the polls tell him its safe to come out and take credit, i.e. VA -McDonnell?

When did Romney announce? When did he even say that he would run if the circumstances are right?

Your boy Romney is working right now to wrap up the GOP 2012 nomination by this July 2010. He is bribing the RNC into changing the primaries to favor him with primary states being winner take all and opening up the voting to liberals and democrats.

One thing Perry is really good at is being a political chameleon. He can redefine himself on a dime.

Yes, they are. All they know to do is rubber stamp the previous primary loser. Some of the older ones will want Mittens since they never had his father for President and feel cheated.

My only answer to your canard is two words: John McCain
