Ah, spring allergies - I spend much of the months February through April with allergies that give me chest pains. When they first happened, I thought, "Oh gosh, I've finally developed heart problems. This pain feels exactly like what they describe."

Several cardiac stress tests and physicals later, I realize that the problem is some kind of allergy. I accept that I'm going to have chest pains for a few weeks each spring. I think the problem is that the little balloons in my lungs become irritated.

Of course, right now my problem is some kind of little cold. I just hope that this little cold doesn't become a big cold. We have a beautiful weekend coming, and I don't want to miss the whole thing.

Had an old Marine reunion, saw an old friend not seen since 1979!

I just couldn’t stomach much of their website. They are delusional to the point of having a borderline psychosis. Their drawings looked like rejects for some of the graphics on the old Logan’s Run movie. The only value I see in that setup is being able to press a button and have a hot babe pop into a closet wearing a filmy gown. In spite of moral objections, there are days when “microwave romance” doesn’t seem too bad to me. LOL Of course, I’m fifteen years past the time when they would have killed me in the Logan’s Run society. Some days, being put out of my loneliness doesn’t seem so bad either. LOL

Oh, that's a hilarious observation. And, yes, they are completely mad.

As for you, isn't it time that you gathered all of your observations and cobbled them together into a book? If you have time and quiet right now, take advantage while it lasts.
