WE NEED A HEALTHCARE MIRACLE (VANITY)
GUNGAGALUNGA | 3-12-10 | GUNGAGALUNGA

Well. It looks like the Democrats will spend this weekend threatening all the House member to vote this garbage in.

I think I am going to go home and just drink myself into an oblivion and hopefully somehow a miracle will happen. I have called all my Congresscritters and Senators. I have done all I can. I can not imagine having to live in America under Commie rule. The players and sellouts have been amazing. Hopefully one day..I will be able to piss on their graves.

Bottoms Up!!

First of all, beg relatives and friends to call House members.

Here is some cause for some optimism:

1. First, we’ve heard little from the GOP side today, which signals that the tide is still with them - don’t want to upset the applecart.

2. Now per arithmetic:

I have just reviewed the Firm No/Likely No/Leaning No from The Hill newspaper. As of this afternoon, there are 33 House Democrats in this combined NO category.

Per my arithmetic, the GOP needs 216 votes to kill this bill. We start with 178 GOP NO votes. That means that 38 defections will kill Obamacare in the House.

178 + 33 (The Hill) = 211 – only 5 more to go.

Per the NRCC Code Red site, Congressman Shuler of NC is also a NO, not reflected in The Hill newspaper. That means 212 NO votes. Only 4 more to go.

I think if this is shoved down the throats of the American people and we take over the house and congress in 2010 and win the presidency in 2012 this can be repealed. It is/was something the American public did not want and was pushed against our will. There is no reason with us in charge why we could not turn this back again. If they can do it...so can we!!!

I called Bob Ethridge (D-NC). His staffer said he is wavering. He voted Yes the first time with the Stupak amendment. He could be a no if the abortion thing is not fixed. He was not in the Stupak 12 I dont think.

I agree and this (if it’s passed) is going to be in the courts for a long time. But I still think the dems don’t have the votes even though Nutty Nan says they do. They’d be voting right now if that were the case. All we can do is contact house members and pray...

But we will need 2/3 of both houses to override Obama’s veto.

The only hope is for Obama to be revealed as ineligible to be President, in which case his signature on the bill would be invalid as would be the bill and everything else he has signed.

Don’t give up the fight against these Progressives (Marxists).

I suspect if they do impose this takeover against the public will, they’re going to all be chased from office, at which point we will need Conservative people of character to fill the offices and kill this thing after the fact.

It will take continued effort, but keep the faith. Good will triumph over evil.

either side needs 216 - to pass or kill — that is the critical number

Have everyone you know call Etheridge. Check out the pro-abortion comments that both Waxman and Reid said today — they want federal financing of abortion in the final health care package.

Much of 0bamacare is unconstitutional, but it will take time to get standing (mandates take effect in 2014). There are nullification efforts that include state statute and amendments that strike down the mandates (VA, AZ etc). There may also be loopholes for individuals to opt out. The Amish have been doing this with social security since it was enacted.
We will also have to see how this process plays out. Trying to get 0bamacare passed via some gimmick like the Slaughter rule circumvents the legislative process and is probably unconstitutional. This could allow individuals to seek redress against congress immediately for the harm (the taxes) caused by an unconstitutionally passed bill.
Believe me, a lot of people will be working on creative ways to resist this most egregious affront to out liberty. We must continue to resist to keep this issue in the forefront of voters minds.

check out Hugh Hewitt website. He has a email system to send letters to Blue Dogs.
http://hughhewitt.com

He also has a link to the Tim Burns, the Republican trying to take Murtha’s old seat.

Send him a contribution to send a message to the Democrats.

This would be as devilish as abortion. We’ve never given up on abortion, we would never give up on this.
