Bad news for Democrats in Democratic poll
Examiner ^ | 03/10/10 | MIchael Barone

There’s lot of bad news for the Democrats in the survey just released by Democracy Corps and Third Way, conducted by Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg’s firm. The numbers I’ll quote here are the results for likely voters and don’t include “dropoff voters,” who tend to be younger and significantly more Democratic. Republicans lead on the generic poll for the House by 47%-44% and even lead in party identification, including leaners, by 47%-46%. This is in line with the Real Clear Politics average on the generic vote which shows Republicans ahead 44%-43%; if you drop the AP/Ipsos poll, an outlier which shows Democrats ahead 50%-40%, you have Republicans ahead 45%-42%--pretty close, I suspect, to the historical high for Republicans on this question.

The Democracy Corps-Third way shows Barack Obama’s job approval at 47%-48%. By a 51%-41% margin likely voters think America’s standing in the world has gotten worse since Obama became president and by 47%-44% say that America is less safe from foreign threats than two years ago. Obama’s approval is a negative 42%-57% on the economy and 44%-51% on terrorist interrogation and prosecution of terrorist suspects: the treatment of the Christmas bomber seems to have made an impact. Republicans lead Democrats on the economy 44%-43%, keeping America safe 47%-34%, national security 50%-33%, ensuring a strong military 58%-27%, combating terrorism 47%-35% and the budget deficit 40%-37%. Other results are somewhat more favorable for Democrats, but overall this has to have been depressing reading for the analysts.

Even Obummer's buddies at Democracy Corpse can't make the numbers work for him.

Works for me.

As bad as these numbers are...I gotta wonder if the Dem pollsters aren’t inflating The One’s standing?

Don’t trust these people.

It’s a good point. Ras has the GOP with a much larger lead on the generic ballot, and I sure as hell trust Scott a lot more than Carville and Greenberg.

This is how it read to me the first time I glanced at it.

The socialists RATs aren't worried about losing power in the mid term elections over the unconstitutional, socialist health care bill because they have an ace up their sleeves. Soros Eyes Secretaries

ON the positive side for Demon-rats, they have 98.5% of the dead vote, 89.8% of the felon vote, and can drum up 110% turnouts in certain urban precincts in Philadelphia.

Additionally, ACORN can guarantee an added 2% to the tallys in most major American cities.

That's what I was thinking...this poll might be just to "fire up their base".

As soon as you discover someone is a liberal/progressive, tell them "NO" and never, ever change your answer....say "NO" to everything they suggest, request, and claim...it will all be lies.

Too much water has gone under the bridge during the clinton and obama terms...both were a concert of daily lies; it's the only way the democrat/liberal/progressive agenda can get anywhere in America.

The Associated Press are the biggest election fraudsters on the planet. Why do they even bother to do a “poll” at all, given that they have already predetermined that their “poll” shows massive support for 0bama and the Democrats even before the “poll” is done.

Well isn’t this James Carville’s polling outfit?????

I didn’t realize til yesterday reading Karl Rove’s book that Donna Brazile was Al Gore’s campaign person...

As we knew and our gut tells us everyday, mainstream media is Democrat media....all of it - but one. FOX.

All true, but it aint easy getting those populations motivated in the off year elections.

OTOH, seniors are pretty dependable in the midterms and they are PISSED!!

Long term this is irrelevant. They win healthcare, and they win. Regardless of the midterm elections they will have succeeded in creating a government-dependent majority who will vote to live off the minority. It's over until revolution comes (or nuclear holocaust, which ever is first).

I don’t believe these polls; I think they are covering up a worse situation for the communists.

However, we should NOT depend on polls. We must all work as hard as we can — and give as much as we can — to get Obama’s Communist Party out of majority power in the House and Senate this fall.

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

Congressional Dems on Twitter

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!
