NH/AZ-Sen. 2010: McCain tackles health care, spending at forum (McCain becomes a conservative)
The Nashua Telegraph ^ | 2010-03-14 | Michael Brindley

Posted on 03/14/2010 10:34:12 AM PDT by rabscuttle385

NASHUA – Health care reform and government spending were on the minds of those who turned out for a town hall meeting with Sen. John McCain, who was visiting New Hampshire to support U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Ayotte.

Ayotte, a Republican and Nashua native, is seeking the seat Sen. Judd Gregg will vacate at the end of this term.

(snip)

McCain called the Democrats’ health care legislation a “train wreck” that is “full of budget gimmicks and full of assumptions that can’t be realized.” McCain also criticized Democrats for adding trillions to the national deficit, which he said would increase by another $2.5 trillion under the current health care proposal.

We’ve committed generational theft on our children and grandchildren,” McCain said.

(snip)

McCain won the New Hampshire primary in 2008, but lost the election to Barack Obama. In his first visit to New Hampshire since the election, McCain pledged to do everything in his power to ensure New Hampshire retains its first-in-the-nation primary status.

(snip)

Responding to a question about what is being done to control illegal immigration, McCain criticized Obama for proposing a budget for 2011 that reduces the number of border patrol agents.

That is unacceptable,” McCain said.

(snip)

Farrell Seiler, of Littleton, asked McCain and Ayotte for their thoughts on whether climate change is being caused by human activity.

It’s an inexact science. There’s been more and more questioning about conclusions that have been reached,” said McCain, who stressed the importance of focusing on the creation of nuclear power to reduce greenhouse gases.

Afterward, Seiler, who believes human activity is causing climate change and identifies himself as an independent, said McCain and Ayotte both dodged his question.

“I didn’t get an answer,” Seiler said. “I just got a lot of talking points.”

So you don’t agree with him?

Why aren’t you glad that he is making these statements and criticizes Obama policies? It sounds like you are frustrated and would PREFER that he would agree with Obama?

Are you a conservative or just a McCain hater?

“I didn’t get an answer,” Seiler said. “I just got a lot of talking points.”

And that’s all you’ll get from this faux conservative during his reelection year. Then, if he wins (may the Good Lord forbid!), then you’ll have the vintage McStrange back again—amnesty, cap and tax, and “reaching across the aisle” for the Kenyan’s extremist judicial nominees.

Add this one to your McCain files, courtesy of bokababe.

Two years ago, right after Kosovo declared independence. McCain sent Cindy to congratulate Thaci.

Six months later, the Albanian Mafia donated a cool $1M to McCain's presidential campaign saying that "John gave us everything we asked for", including "supplying arms" to support their sex-slaving, drug-running Mafia Kosovo Empire.

Hashim Thaci (AKA "The Snake") is a Mafia Don -- not exaggeration, fact. And that McCain would openly do business with Thaci says to me that they are cut of the same cloth -- evil and corrupt.

[snip]McCain supports radical muslims in Kosovo By Cliff Kincaid ⋅ March 27, 2008

If the media are on the lookout for gaffes by the presidential campaigns, they missed a big one on Wednesday, when Cindy McCain met with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci in Kosovo’s capital Pristina, while her husband was giving a major foreign policy speech calling for “new foundations for a stable and enduring peace.” Kosovo’s declaration of independence, which McCain accepts and was implicitly recognized by Cindy McCain’s visit to Pristina, is a major threat to global peace and security. It could spark a U.S. war with Russia.

DITTO! purge this RINO along with the demwits in NOV. I held my nose and voted for him, didn’t like to, but knew he was the lesser of two evils.

Did he mention the CUT & GUT of Medicare, SS and Tricare For Life (retired over 65 Military’s health ins.)?

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!
