A very dangerous act is being attempted by the Left to secure their rule over the American people and transform the legislative process from a Constitutional Republic to a government by fiat. Today on Fox News Sunday, Democratic leader Rep. Chris Van Hollen admitted Democrats intend to use the unconstitutional “Slaughter Rule” as a solution to ram nationalized health care through Congress without majority vote and in defiance to the will of the American people.
The Slaughter rule would declare that the House of Representatives “deems” the Senate health care bill “passed” by the House. House members would have to vote on whether to accept the rule, but would then be able to claim they only voted for a rule, not for the bill itself. In other words, Democrats will avoid a direct vote on the health care bill while allowing it to become law! They will take over one-sixth of the US economy without voting on it in direct violation to the legislative process defined by the U.S Constitution.

Voting to “accept the rule” will be the equivalent of voting for the senate bill. Dems can’t believe they’ll get by with this fraudulent scam of the American public.

By what this Democrat has just said the Democrat Party of America has declared war on America, war against the Constitution they are sworn to uphold and they have declared war on the American people. This is the non-violent take-over of The Untied States of America by an American political party. This is war. There is a season to everything under Heaven. A season for Peace and a season of War. We’ve come to the latter season. The Democrat Party has with deliberate and malicious intent bought this situation about in planned and deliberate move to seize power in the US and radically transform our Constitutional Democracy to a centrally controlled socialist,quasi-police state. This is serious. These bastards have got to be stopped.

When they pass a bill that prevents me, my child, wife, parents, etc from being able to purchase health care and get the treatment they want and need. And my loved one is forced to die.

The bill isn't going to be legally effective if quasi adopted under the Slaughter rule. The article is correct as far as it goes--the adoption process wouldn't comply with the Constitution and they don't have law, even when the Senate bill is signed by Obama.
The reason they are doing this is to have a claim that they have complied with the Reconciliation Rule in the Senate--that they have a bill that is legally effective to reconcile to. So they can then take the House bill to the Parliamentarian of the Senate and get him to approve a motion on the rules to get the bill to the floor.
Then, if the Parliamentarian says ok, they take the House bill to the floor under reconciliation rules and either the Senate passes it intact; or amends it and passes it as amended in which case it goes back to the House; or it fails on the Senate floor.
If the later, I don't think they have law. But if they can do either one of the first two alternatives followed in the case of the second by adoption by the House, they have law even though the initial passage of the Senate bill was ineffective.
And BTW, Ms. Slaughter is an absolute stupid phoney jackass.

Obama and the Democrat congress are already on thin ice with the American people and if they try to use the 'Slaughter Rule' to ram through Obamacare without a vote, there will be a citizen revolt. Enough is enough.
The next “war” will be fought with the media’s compliance. The current MSM needs to be replaced with a medium that caters to the individuality of American society. We are slowly denigrating the culture of America into a mish-mosh of socially acceptable stereotypes. Individuality is dead; plus it’s a core component to an effective group taking over the hearts and minds of America.

Actually, the ruling of the Parliamentarian was to the effect that the bill has to be signed into law before the reconciliation process can move forward. That’s why Obambi postponed his trip. They’ll use the slaughter option to pass the senate bill, Obambi will sign it into law and then the reconciliation process will go forward with the fixes.
The fact they are even considering this is very scary. They are not in the least bit interested in what the ‘people’ want.
