The new taxes will permanently wipe out the middle class.

As Lenin said, the first objective of a communist revolution is to eliminate the bourgeoisie.

“Did the Senate Bill include student loan takeover? If it did not then this is NOT the same Bill. No bill can become law unless both Houses pass the exact same legislation.”

Will they just skip the US Constitution this time ‘round? (And it will never be honored again by any RAT ever?)

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...................

From today's Rollcall article (12AM - 3/15/10)

Leaders appeared to be favoring a maneuver that would allow lawmakers to approve the reconciliation package without taking a separate vote on the politically dicey Senate bill. Under this scenario, the Senate bill would be deemed to have cleared the chamber once the House approved the package of fixes.

If this happens, this needs to go to any court ASAP

Why aren’t the Republicans screaming like hell about this? Do they even care? Will they walk out like the dems did when Clinton was impeached?

This is actually the “shell” bill that Paul Ryan warned about:

http://spectator.org/blog/2010/03/11/ryan-dems-ramming-shell-hc-bil

It appears so — the Left agrees too.

From:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/3/14/846267/-Reconciliation-Bill-Released-%283-15%29-%28Update-Explanation%29

Updates:
- Here is the article at The Hill announcing the release of the bill. - Jeffrey Young (health care wonky guy) tweets it... - Ah, I see - the first couple divisions might be reprinting or summarizing the earlier House versions of the bill that came out of various committees. So it might be that the public option isn't actually in the reconciliation bill. - Apparently, word is this bill is released entirely for “procedural purposes”, and is really just the senate HCR bill packaged for the house. No drama here. - Nico Pitney tweets: ‘This is not what you're looking for’. No changes to Senate Bill.

Last Update:

Basically, this is a shell bill - gets sent to the budget committee, who will rubber stamp it, and then it goes to the rules committee, who will strip it out and replace it with the actual reconciliation language. So, something got released here, but you can ignore a lot of the content. The newsworthy part is that it looks like the reconciliation bill will include student loan reforms.

This is how it's been done since forever. A quick search on the House's website confirms this, with hundreds of bills having had markup notices sent out without much fanfare or attention. Perhaps the public just hasn't been this involved in the sausage making of writing legislation and it just now seems like a circus, when, in fact, it has always been a circus.

From:
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/86681-house-democrats-release-reconciliation-healthcare-bill

House Democrats hope to complete their work by this weekend, before President Barack Obama begins an overseas trip he delayed for several days to focus on healthcare.

The markup by the Budget Committee is the first step toward bringing the measure to the House floor.

(1) if there is a significant change in the health
condition of the individual, including:

-diagnosis of a chronic, progressive, life-limiting disease
-life-threatening terminal diagnosis
-life-threatening injury
-upon admission to a skilled nursing facility
-long-term care facility (AS DEFINED BUY THE SECRETARY),
-a hospice program.

A consultation may include the formulation of AN ORDER regarding life sustaining treatment or a similar order.

The term ORDER regarding life sustaining treatment means:

-AN ACTIONABLE MEDICAL ORDER RELATING TO THE TREATMENT OF THAT INDIVIDUAL that is signed and dated by:

-a physician
-a health care professional SPECIFIED BY THE SECRETARY
-a NURSE PRACTIONER
-a physician assistant.

THIS IS VERY SCARY FOR ANYONE!

An order, such as DNR (Do Not Resuscitate).

Their version of cost control is to let those with chronic diseases or needing expensive treatments, die instead.

This is what the Nazis did in Germany.

This is not the same bill; this will have to go to the Senate.

I thought they had to have a SIGNED Bill before they could vote on reconcilliation.

No just a bill passed by the other house of Congress.

Here is how it goes (from other articles)

The House passes this bill, which is supposed to go to the Senate for reconciliation, but as soon as this bill is passed by the House, the original Senate bill is “DEEMED” passed, even though the House does NOT vote on it. Since as soon as this bill is passed, it is deemed that the House passed the Senate bill, Obama can sign it immediately, because the same bill is “deemed” to have passed both the Houe and the Senate and we have Obamacare from that moment.

Then the Senate may pass the reconciliation bill the House created, but even if they don’t we already have Obamacare as per above described process.

But they House can pass it as is and just send it to Bo...right? The Senate can just not do reconciliation...then we are stuck with this as is...

Student loan system: another take over of an American business. And why, exactly?
___________
Why do you think? So they can give loans to minorities and they will never have to pay them back. They want to control it all. It’s a Marxist takeover of this country and I’m tired of jokes and people calling them progressives or liberals. get real. We have a Chavez in the White House. Our constitution, liberties and country are undergoing an attempted coup and people better wake the hell up and smell the coffee.

They already do so many things (and have done so for nearly 100 years) it hardly means anything anymore.
