“To start with, it is estimated that a federal bureaucracy of more than 150,000 new employees will be required to administer HB3200.”

So the UR rate will fall to 13.4% after they pass this?
[Sneers, jeers and mockery.]

+++ Its no longer a question of healthcare, its now about the integrity of our form of Government.+++++

What I’ve been saying. “Lawlessness” and quite close to FAHRENHEIT 451.

We had darned well make SURE that the unemployment rate, especially in leftist cities, rises to 20% or more if this passes. We need to SHUT THIS COUNTRY DOWN!

++++++++++++++++

Short, medium and long term action points - along the lines of shutting down the country if this passes - see point 4 below:

1) Keep calling:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2466657/posts?page=37#37
http://nrcc.org/codered/targets/

2) If this is rammed down our throats, despite all of our efforts, we point to 2012, and in the meantime tie it up in the courts and postpone any tax collections on it until such a time as it is ruled constitutional (or forever if it is ruled unconstitutional.)

3) If they still try to collect taxes we should institute an immediate and gradiated taxpayer revolt. Lift the number of your dependents so that the least amount of taxes are with-held. Some people may consider with-holding their quarterly payments (independent business people). We institute immediately a HUGE legal defense fund to immediately and aggressively defend any legal actions against anyone involved in the taxpayer revolt - under the premise of the HCR Socialism Care Constitionality question.

4) Continue to legistlatively deny funding to the Socialist monster = Fed. Government. Republicans should threaten and actually bring Government to a grinding halt (other than our military, prisons, police and fire.)

5) Continue the 2010 brow beating that started in 2010. Elect a Freedom loving, socialist hating president - to continue cleaning up the mess of the socialist RATS.

6) Implement zero deficit based budgeting - continue to clean up all of the entitlement debt liabilities and clarify what we can and can’t expect out of these legacy entitlement programs. Begin the tough work of ramping them back to a reality basis - or eliminating many of the 2,000 fed entitlements.

One of the bills additions seems to now be a public option. It also appears illegal immigrants will have access but no penalty for non- compliance.

Subtitle B—Public Health Insurance Option

From page 1167 of the bill:,

SEC. 221. ESTABLISHMENT AND ADMINISTRATION OF A PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE OPTION AS AN EXCHANGE-QUALIFIED HEALTH BENEFITS PLAN.

(a) ESTABLISHMENT.—For years beginning with Y1, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (in this subtitle referred to as the ‘‘Secretary’’) shall provide for the offering of an Exchange-participating health benefits plan (in this subdivision referred to as the ‘‘public health insurance option’’) that ensures choice, competition, and stability of affordable, high quality coverage throughout the United States in accordance with this subtitle.

In designing the option, the Secretary’s primary responsibility is to create a low-cost plan without compromising quality or access to care.

Senate Bill
House Bill
Obama Bill
Reconciliation Bill
Slaughter Bill
Rule Bill
Shell Bill
There is no Bill

A chart would be helpful to make sense or nonsense of the path this beast is moving on. Many detours away from a straight vote in both houses.

Seems there should be a means to stop the use of the slaughter solution now. -(I am not in the legal field)- could GOP require a court ruling as to whether it is Constitutional , some type of injunction to stop use of the procedure until then.

update from Hot air link

sounds like the ,rationing (death panels)

Update: Page 1557 has the Comparative Effectiveness Center:

(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary shall establish within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality a Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research (in this section referred to as the ‘Center’) to conduct, support, and synthesize research (including research conducted or supported under section 1013 of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003) with respect to the outcomes, effectiveness, and appropriateness of health care services and procedures in order to identify the manner in which diseases, disorders, and other health conditions can most effectively and appropriately be prevented, diagnosed, treated, and managed clinically.

Read the whole section, but pay attention to the composition of the panel, especially the last discipline:

(i) DIVERSE REPRESENTATION OF PERSPECTIVES.—The members of the Commission shall represent a broad range of perspectives and shall collectively have experience in the following areas:

(I) Epidemiology.
(II) Health services research.
(III) Bioethics.
(IV) Decision sciences.
(V) Health disparities.
(VI) Economics.
What is “comparative effectiveness”? It’s a system of rationing scarce resources

Ping to Health Care Bill PDF. The public option is back. Really huge problem there.

If this is passed , the destruction of America will be cranked up 10 fold to what it is now.

Very mean spirited bill. Denigrates the freedoms of Americans wholesale.

We will never surrender.
