You are absolutely correct. We need to come up with specifics to counter their assertion that the sheeple “want health care reform”. The devil is in the details. Get them on the record. Ask them a few of these questions, get the answers in writing or on tape.

The Senate Bill provides for an “Independent Medicare Advisory Board,” given the task of ensuring Medicare expenditures meet budget goals. Should Medicare growth rates exceed these goals, the Board is REQUIRED to act to reduce the shortfall. How is this not rationing? Where was Sarah Palin wrong in describing this as a Death Panel?

Section 3209 allows the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) to bar senior citizens from purchasing private fee-for-service Medicare Advantage plans, except if you live in Florida. Why was Florida exempted? How does this not violate the Equal Protection Clause? Why can I not spend my own money on treatment that I deem necessary? Why are doctors fined if they accept fee for service payment from individuals?

Why is Congress exempt from this fiasco?

The Senate Bill also states that the Department of Health and Human Services would contract with an “entity” that is to “develop and identify consensus-based standards to evaluate patient decision aids for preference sensitive care. Grants and contracts would be awarded to develop these “patient decision aids”. Does this mean that the Sec. of HHS is going to spend tax dollars to develop propaganda material to convince us that we should opt to die for the betterment of society?

What are the 118 new agencies that are specifically created by this legislation? What is the purpose of each new agency? What are their annual operating budgets? How does the creation of such a bureaucracy rein in costs?

How are states already in dire financial condition going to be able to fund the unfunded expanded Medicaid mandate?

If this legislation is SO IMPORTANT, why do the benefits not start for years?

If this legislation is so good, why was the IRS given such draconian powers?

Why have you not been honest about the double counting of the Medicare cuts as “cost savings”?

I have a great Rep and one Senator who is adamantly opposed to this bill. The other Senator drank the kool-aide and is beyond hope.

This is all about individual action for the most part.

Every individual conservative patriotic citizen who loves this great country and the Constitutional Republic that it was created to be needs to look up their hired public officials' (Senate and Rep) offices and call, fax and write letters.

And on Tuesday go to the local offices in person and tell the staff there what you and millions of others want, and that is no health care bill rushed through upon our backs.

A plan with no action until 4 years of taxes is only one of the foolish insane aspects of this bill.

Become as informed as possible and Good luck!

Look, the Dem’s know we’re mad as Hell and we’re not going to take it anymore, they don’t care. The Dems know we will bury them in November, they don’t care. The Dems know the Tea Party patriots will work night and day on their opponents campaigns, they don’t care. The Dems will have to kick the Constitution to the curb to get this bloated ugly bitch passed, they don’t care. The massive rallies against Obamacare have continued to grow, they don’t care. What they want and do care about is to bring their heel down hard on 1/6th of the economy and have the producers of this country by the short hair. The Tea Party movement needs to get serious about our reaction to this egregious ongoing effort to whip us into submission to the Nanny State. If we’re mad as Hell and we’re not going to take it anymore, then we shouldn’t take it anymore. This includes signed pledges we will ignore health care bill mandates, refuse to pay taxes associated with the bill, go to jail, start legal defense funds for in inevitable Federal charges, ferociously pursue states rights initiatives including opt out of the program, start serious discussions about secession or rebellion. It means we will have to risk our jobs put our families’ well being at risk and possibly cost us our lives. The Republicans have demonstrated repeatedly they do not have the balls to repeal government teat programs. So are you ready to do what it takes to “not take it anymore”?

I am so sorry I could not advance my calendar and get there in time...just too short a notice to change my 800 mile trip that extends to the Tax Day Rally April 15.

I will make it before the Saturday event at Arlington, as previously planned. I look forward to joining old friends at Walter Reed Hospital and I am planning for August 28 and to stay for a 9-11 event too.

RE Jefferson; Given today’s modern destructive military technology at the Emperor’s disposal, most of that “manuring” will probably be coming from the veins of Patriots, if it ever comes to that. Even when the despots have wrung out the last drop of sacrifice, their gore-stained axe may still be brought to the roots of our sacred “tree”.

We’d better pray that it does not come to that, even as it appears ever more imminent that it will.

We the People are running out of options, and the tree is withering fast.

Unless there is a miraculous, divine intervention, the powers of evil arrayed before us not likely be deterred with the resources available to us mere “Subjects”.
