A self defense semi automatic should have a round chambered.
A revolver is a very difficult firearm to hit with in Double Action. A semi automatic is much easier. You have to take that in consideration when choosing what to use.
A classic example of why one must never bother an old dog. Might still have one good bite left!
Well, I'd say it's more important to carry locked and loaded because an unloaded firearm is nothing more than a paperweight. But still you're correct: One can never have too many guns, ammo or knives. Just be sure you handle them correctly so as to be able to successfully defend yourself when you need to. If you’re carrying for self defense, you should have one in the pipe already or it’s useless. Don’t feel quit comfortable with the safety features on the glock, then get something else. Personally, I don’t like them, I know it’s unlikely something will depress the little trigger pressure safety but that being the only thing between me and “bang” isn’t quite enough.
