President Obama gave a thumbs up Thursday to the outline of a plan to legalize illegal immigrants and create a flow of low-skilled foreign workers for the future, saying the immigration bill being worked on by a Republican and a Democrat is "promising."

In their broad blueprint, Sens. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat,

...and Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, call for illegal immigrants to be put on a path to citizenship, offer green cards to keep high-skilled foreign university graduates and would create a temporary program for low-skilled workers, with some also getting the chance to become citizens.

Read this morning that when questioned yesterday, “Baghdad Bob” Gibbs refused to rule out using the “Slaughter Solution” for any other bills before the House such as immigration reform. These cowards need to be taught a lesson that will be recorded for all of prosperity in the history books this November. Enough is enough!

Amazingly Schumer and Graham want a ready supply of fresh young bed-warmers and lawn-boys.

Or is that some sort of compromise they've worked out ~ "one for me and one for you, and one for me and one for you".

Is it possible that these illegals will be able to vote this November? Can this be rammed through that quickly? If so, as Rush said, they may have the “replacement” votes to stay in power come November.

Yes, we will now be telling the people to illegally enter the US and every 10-15 years when the political winds shift you to can be an American citizen. God help us all.

When Dear Leader was elected in 2008 I told everyone who would listen that Amnesty would be Issue No. 1 because it would instantly give the dims millions more loyal idiots... uh, I mean voters.

So much for cutting the jobless rate.

Yeah. This makes lots of sense with 10% unemployment.

And I don't think anyone objects to future immigrants who would come here under procedures established by law. It's the ones who are here now who came here illegally that some of us consider a problem. Or more correctly we consider it a problem that the government that made it illegal to sneak into the country won't enforce its own laws.

But could it happen as quickly as November? I truly hope not - overthrowing power in November is the only hope to get out of this HUGE mistake in the White House.

Oh no, Judy, it isn’t the only way to get out of this ‘mistake’. We Yanks can be violent, you know.

Well, let’s hope it doesn’t come to that - I truly hope that November will put a stop to Obama’s agenda. I used to think he was just a big dork, but I now believe he is quite dangerous (but still a dork).

Like we don’t have enough Americans out of work now, that could fill what jobs there are.

Vote no incumbents.

Once health care is in place this is the final piece of the puzzle that will put socialists in permanent control of the country. 20 million instant new handout-dependent, marxist-controlled voters. They will fight for this as hard as they have for health care. We must fight against it even harder.

I think you’ve said something important: these people behind him don’t seem all that organized and he is pathetic as a leader. Any significat opposition would cause his administration to deflate.

It is people like Nancy Pelosi, a truly vicious radical, who cause me concern.

Even if it appears to pass it will be challenged.

It is patently un-Constitutional. The courts can freeze its implementation and then the fun begins. Particularly if it is NOT passed as regular legislation, but under Slaughter’s Rule.

Anyone think employers will be MORE likely to hire illegals to avoid paying for health insurance or fines for not providing it?

On behalf of South Carolina, Lindsey Graham is unworthy of representing the state.
