When Gallup had him at negative a few days ago, there was no denying it. Dems need to take notice. And the stick he is wielding is that he is not campaigning for “no” votes on health care? I would tell him to keep Air Force 1 parked anyhow. His coat tails are gone.

-13 by itself means nothing. How about 42,250,000. That is 13% of the total population of the USA. The CBO does pull numbers out of the air. I did not see where the -13 came form in the article or the link.

I follow this poll closely; I have for years.

The key here is not the -21. It’s that even among those who still approve, the “strongly approve” is down to 1/2.

Even those who support Obama are tepid.

Moreover, Obama’s support not surprisingly has historically been shored up around key events like this one. The fact that it has gone the opposite direction around the health care vote is a breathtakingly bad sign.

If Pelosi still does NOT have the votes this late in the game, the ground is giving way beneat these folks. It is too early to claim victory, of course, but it is within the Republicans’ grasp.
