Bud, this day is where we were headed under both parties. Our leading prospect for 2012 is probably Mitt Romney whether you or I like it or not. How long do you think he would have taken to implement his health care plans for the nation? That’s what he wanted to do.
So we got Health Care (D) today. We were headed to Health Care (R) anyway.
We need to rethink our idea that the lesser of two evils is gaining us a damned thing.
It’s time to up the ante, go the tea bag party and oust those sons of bitches that make better excuses than statesmen.
I have a great idea.
Every Republican should just start spouting facts in their time.
“Your vote for this bill will increase taxes x amount per family.”
“Your vote for this bill will use American tax dollars to fund abortion.”
“Your vote for this bill will mandate that every American will have insurance or go to jail/pay fines”
“Your vote will hire 17,000 IRS agents to enforce the unconstitutional bill”
etc. etc. Nothing but the facts.
Even Romney drew back when his brainchild in Mass morphed into a monster in the legislature... he ended up VETOING it. V E T O that spells VETO. The legislature overrode. Romneycare blew up in his face.
But if for some reason Romney gets the election he’ll just not move on any changes to this beast....the whole thing stinks beyond measure!
