Even as a child in history class I had the strong belief that Someone up there liked us. Culturally America has been moving away from God for 60 years. I don’t think this nation is under Almighty protection anymore.

I find it very hard to believe that US Centcom chief Gen. David Petraeus would ask to have the Palestinian territories added to CENTCOM’S turf. I don’t believe our military wants to be drawn into this matter. And if it was drawn into it, it would be on Israel’s side IMO.
The ultimatums to Israel are unacceptable.
In retaliation, pro-Israel voters can most damage Obama by urging their congress-critters to vote against ObamaCare. If it fails, his presidency is finished.

Just like all those gestures to Russia (cancelling the missile shields); Ahmadinejad (the outstretched hand), the low bow to China (f-you on devaluing the yuan) and the apology tour (all the Muslim atrocities since then) were SO effective.
We've had General Casey, covering for Maj. Hasan. We've had the infiltration of the Pentagon by Muslims with backgrounds with the Muslim Brotherhood advising on policy. We've had types typified by General Clark, advised by Samantha Powers, who are clearly in the Leftist camp.
We still have a Pentagon and command structure comprised of Generals who received their appointments via Clinton.
The military is subject to the same drip drip drip of leftist influence that the rest of the culture is subject to.
I agree that it makes no sense for General Preteaus to want to place American soldiers between Israelis and Palestinians. But Pratreaus may have inflated his role to meet the requirements of the position he is in. He is meeting Muslim leaders on a diplomatic basis and may have become susceptible to their point of view.
I would sure hope he hadn’t.
If we betray Israel, as it appears we are about to do, I shudder to think of the consequences.
