While the Government may maintain that the Constitution gives it the authority to regulate interstate commerce, it does not give it the authority to regulate the absence of commerce. That is the seminal Constitutional issue. This is not over. We have a right to not spend our hard earned money. The government does not have a right to mandate that we do.

Show me, anywhere in the Constitution, the Federal Government is given the authority to demand we buy anything. It does not exist. They cannot regulate the absence of commerce, especially demanding that an unwilling buyer purchase something they would otherwise not purchase. Not even the Interstate Commerce Clause can be stretched that far.
