Thought the motion was to come before the actual Senate vote. Does it follow?

you are implying this will fail

I'm not implying it'll fail. I don't trust BS any farther than I could throw him, however. He clearly is a rat cut from the same cloth as the others. I do think they trial ballooned the Slaughter Solution, but eventually saw how handy it was that everyone spent so much time commenting on it, yet they didn't want to hand SCOTUS another urgent problem that might cause them to pick up a stick any sooner than absolutely necessary to to fix their precious HCR's potential problems. Hence, insuring passage of the Senate bill became job #1, while continuing to hint at both reconcilliation and the Slaughter Solution, while firming up the direct Senate-bill vote via P O R K!

I'm only saying wholesale bribery is the language used by the dims to bring them this close, where they are now, and "true" to Pelosi's word, she was going to stop at nothing. There are already reports of what pork BS has been able to extract on behalf of his district (despite how he's let down the Right To Life Coalition, etc).

Passage or failure is in God's hands. If it be passage, I'll simply take it to mean He wants us to be stronger still to fight for what's right.

Boehner just gave a very impassioned speech on the House floor on why this bill is a travesty.

Too bad the Dems weren't listening.

OK, I( obviously misunderstood the strategy. The Motion to Recommit will be made on the reconciliation bill. Why? The Senate bill will hqave already been passed and on its way to Obama.

What sense does this make?

I thought they were going to do the Motion to Recommit regarding the Senate bill. All I heard was Boehner’s request for a roll call vote. Did I miss something?

Found this on Twitter...

“Motion to recommit; We don’t like what we’ve done, we’ll table it. Kills the bill. That’s the next vote.”

This is going down on the Senate bill, not Reconciliation, as I understand it.

I gather it's not "reach out and changed the Senate's bill," but since Pelosi/0bambi's plan is to get the same bill verbiage approved by both houses, the House copy is presently identical to the Senate's language, but that language could be forced to be changed by the MTR, which, because the language of the two would force action by the Senate, which is available for filibustering, thank you Scott Brown!

That would kill the bill. They could parachute behind enemy lines, and truly do a Slaughter Solution, but that has all these aura of killing the Democrat Party if that (nekkidly) pursue that.
