Just spoke with Boehner’s office and asked them to make sure to only include the exact wording of the Stupak amendment in their motion to recommit. They confidently told me “thank-you very much. We’re working on it. We know what we’re doing!” It definitely did not sound arrogant, but it sounded like they were very aware of the importance of getting this right this time. I guess we’ll see in the next little bit.

An executive order cannot change a law. If the language in the bill calls for funding abortions, an executive order cannot nullify it.
