These leftist thugs will be confiscating a hell of a lot more than cameras over the next couple of years.

They do not need any authority!
We have a non-citizen in the oval office who thinks the US Constitution is a flawed document even though he took an oath to support it.
He has people in his administration who are lovers of Chairman Mao and believe that power comes from the barrel of a gun so you can see they don’t need a Constitution getting in the way of the JBTs.

The real issue is not that photo’s. But that they are afraid someone will have a weapon fashioned like a cellphone. If they do not allow photo’s with cell phones, they protect the Obozo.
Gentlemen, it is time for RecordsGate to happen. His past cannot hide forever. He has sufficiently injured and offended enough powerful people that it could be time for his past to surface. The fix-was-in before the election, but some of the injured parties may be ready to expose him. Not holding my breath, but it could happen.

Assuming this story is accurate, I doubt the secret service really wants to deal with tourists taking photos — clearly Obozo is behind this — or Meeshell — maybe they are tired of all those UNflattering photos of her, in particular, showing up all over the place!
But why do they always have to be out and about? And far from the WH to boot? Are there no theatrical performances in DC and environs? Why do they need to go to NYC on a Sunday when tourists are out with their cameras?
FUBO !

So does this mean I can confiscate the cell phone or camera of a leftist taking pictures of me at a tea party?
Here's a clue, Michelle. If you don't want pics taken of your kids in public, don't take them out in public.
Gotta wonder what's wrong with these kids that they don't want pictures taken of them.
Or are they afraid that people will "photoshop" the pics the same way pics of Sarah Palin's kids were photoshopped?
Libs can dish it out, but they can't take it.

In 1965, Congress authorized the Secret Service (Public Law 89-186) to protect a former president and his/her spouse during their lifetime, unless they decline protection. http://www.secretservice.gov/faq.shtml#faq6
