The most despicable smear to come out of weekend rallies in Washington were unsubstantiated charges that Obamacare protesters shouted racial slurs at black members of Congress walking from the Cannon House Office Building to the Capitol. No evidence backs this up.

This story was first peddled by Rep. Andre Carson, Indiana Democrat, who seemed "almost giddy" telling the tale to the press, according to a Washington Times reporter who was there. Many news organizations reported these charges uncritically even though the people making the claims were the primary political beneficiaries of the tales.

No such epithets can be heard on video posted by Kerry Picket on The Washington Times Water Cooler Blog, which shows the representatives in question during their walk....

I recall an obviously ebonics talking black lady calling Hannity a few weeks ago and in Sean's zeal to prove how racially righteous he was he continued to declare that he could not tell the woman was black in the face of everyone else including the caller insisting they damn sure could...as could I while driving.

I listened to one of the videos of the rally, and the only remark I could distinguish was “kill the bill.” Now if there is anyone shouting racist remarks or spitting on oppponents, they should be swiftly kicked out of the Tea Party Movement. But I seriously doubt the racist remarks and the spitting occurred. And remember, these accusations are coming from the party of Al Sharpton and the rest of the professional race-baiters.

Yes and it works very well indeed...if Obama wasn't black he never would have been elected. Whites need to get over their guilt about the past that they had nothing to do with, and stop cringing at the race card every time it is presented.
