Life, liberty and the . . . “right” to health care?
Chris Dodd has proclaimed that “every American” has the “right” to health care. He said so on tonight’s Countdown, while reminiscing about Ted Kennedy.
If health care is a “right,” what about food, shelter and clothing? Are they all legally enforceable rights? Where do these “rights” derive from? What country are we living in? Is it one that the Founders would recognize?
Here was Dodd, getting misty about Ted with guest host Lawrence O’Donnell, and describing a “right” some of us didn’t realize existed . . .

"Every American has a Right To Eat!" So just go to the grocery store of your choice and take what ever you want. Don't Worry About Paying For It! Avoid the check-out lines. It's your Federal Government/Democrat Party given RIGHT! So go! And take Freely.
Utilizing that rationale then we should really push the 2nd Amendment. When will the Obama start forcing everyone to have a firearm?
Interesting that Dodd and his ‘rats voted to coerce us into paying ofr this “right.”
They always have had the access to healthcare. They have always had the right to buy it. They just didn’t want to pay for it....now some won’t have to.
They think having a flat screen computer, I Pod, blackberry, and 15 credit cards is more important than paying for healthcare!
The only thing that has now changed is that they now HAVE to buy it.
And Dodd’s paying! What a guy!

A car
A home
To not have to work but live off of social services and unemployment
A college degree
A job
To amnesty
To free popcorn so that they can sit back and watch as you frakin idiots destroy and bankrupt this country

No, that’s different. The right to keep and bear arms is actually written in the Bill of Rights. As such, it doesn’t really exist. Only the ones Barack Obama & Friends deem to discover are worthy of protection.

Dodd clearly doesn’t know what a ‘right’ is. A right does not cost someone else’s his rights which the health care hijack does.

Chris Dodd is a jackass. If he isn’t, way is he retiring? Kind of like stupak. Losers! Hehehehe!
Then why are we going to have to wait for our rights until 2018? 'Rights' are endowed by our Creator not the Stupak crew.

Almost 18 months after being laid off and over 200 job applications being ignored .. Someone “OWES” me a J-O-B .. doncha think?
Someone on Medicare needs to sue HHS for depriving them of their ‘rights’ for denying a non-covered service to force some judge to say healthcare is not a right.
