Wasn’t this attempted in 1860? How did that turn out?

It means businesses are not going to hire perm employyes. Many will hire temps and 1099 basis workers and tell them to call obama for health care.

Would it be a violation of the Constitution? Where in the Constitution is there an “escape clause”? Is it really there or is it imagined to be there like abortion rights? Why do you think the founders didn’t have an explicit “escape cluase”? Didn’t we already fight that war? Hey, I’m just askin’.

Some states are just not going to join in, like California, where, unfortunately, I live. (Mr. Moonbeam is our AG!!)

But all of those states that are free, and are willing, I think that they should.

State rights will need to become paramount to overturn the suffocating weight of the federal tyranny.

Besides, if some liberal sink holes of looters remain, they can be safe heavens for all those whining liberals who don’t want freedom.

A more realistic thought:

What if Texas sub-divided into four additional states as our statehood treaty with the US allows? Eight additional Senators in the Senate - probably six Republicans and two Democrats.

This might be the time to seriously consider it.

That’s what you call a constitutional convention.

File for bankruptcy.
