So this KFC is a strictly BYOB (Bring your own Bacon) restaurant. If I lived in England I would do just that. I would prepare some bacon before going there, order the item that is served without bacon and when the server gave me my food I would take the bacon out of my little container and put it on the burger right in front of him/her.
Well, on some level I don’t mind this. After all, you wouldn’t go to a Jewish Deli for a pulled pork sandwich or a non-beef hot dog. What is bothersome is that a chain such as KFC is compromising its franchise to appease a religious minority that seeks to impose its ways on the rest of the world. The way to deal with that, I suppose, is for people who don’t like it to boycott KFC here in the states. That might change their tune.
