In a way, if not by actual design, the series “The Sopranos”, about organized crime lifestyles, might have as well served as a pilot test of public acceptance of SAME in govt...giving the Chicago Pol Machine great encouragement toward national aspirations. I work for a not-for-profit hospital. But we are self-sustaining and provide a valuable service to the community.
