At a crucial moment, China is throwing a lifeline to Kim Jong Il. North Korea is an increasingly fragile state. But with Beijings help, it will probably survive to once again threaten the United States with nuclear destruction.
Today, North Korea threatened to unleash unprecedented nuclear strikes on the United States and South Korea. The reason for Pyongyangs extreme unhappiness? Washington and Seoul are making plans about what to do should the North fall apart. Kim Jong Ils regime called the possibility of internal unrest a pipe dream.

I just wonder when China will determine that it has acquired enough of our manufacturing base and technology we’ve been voluntarily been exporting to them, that they can just nationalize it, and say have a nice day. I guess they hold some IOU’s and they’ll want to turn those in prior. Well, who was it that said capitalists will gladly sell the communists the rope to hang them with? Coil must be about big enough now.
NK is how China proliferates missile and nuke technology to our enemies while maintaining "implausible deniability".
We know what they are doing but in the diplomatic world it would be impolite to call their bluff.
NK does nothing without China's approval. They are the insane pitbull on the leash and China is the street thug.
Of course NK is a client state. All the rest is BS.
Ever wonder why they have been building huge apartment complexes all over the place for the past 20 years? Gotta have housing for all the Far Easterners that will flood the country when states are surrendered to China in lieu of payment on our extraordinary debt to her!
Kim exists because China wants a pliant buffer state on its border, which will occassionaly poke Japan and the USA in the eye.
China is 100% responsible for the genocide of N. Koreans.
