As an aside I was in the Atlanta airport this week. Delta airlines announced 2 guys returning from the war. Everyone nearby started clapping to welcome them home.

Today my husband and I attended the funeral of one of his elderly cousins. Her grandson was here on leave from Afghanistan and I met him for the first time. As we were leaving the church, I stopped and said “Thank you for protecting American”. He grabbed me in a bear hug and said it was his honor to do so. He is leaving this Sunday, going back over there. What a great young man.
