Washington Times ^

Posted on 03/27/2010 7:11:03 AM PDT by jimjohn2458

President Obama is splintering America. The passage of Obamacare was a historic victory for liberal governance. Yet, its true cost may be that it triggers the eventual breakup of the country.

"I love the Union and the Constitution, but I would rather leave the Union with the Constitution than remain in the Union without it."

"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."

Where liberty dwells, there is my country. -- Benjamin Franklin

Yes, America will break up. Americans keep America while the fake current POTUS and Congress can either move to Mexico or Canada whichever they wish. Or maybe to Russia. I am sure they will like it there. It fits their personality and they can finally practice what they preach. Of course, they will end up in jail which is explains why none of them have moved to countries they support and pledge their allegiance to.

We haven't even broken a sweat yet. Nothing's over.

That's a fact.

Mr. Franklin would approve of Mr. Jefferson.

Let me ask you something? Is there a specific amendment to the Constitution or some law out there that prohibits the federal government from enslaving its own citizens? The 14th Amendment prohibits slavery by private parties but not the government.

In order to enslave a people you must first dumb them down. If you look at what has happened to the education of Americans for the past 100+ years or so you will find it has gone down hill in a very serious manner.

The first thing people must do in order to revive a nation is to start with reforming the education system by abolishing public school systems and the federal Department of Mis-education. Only private, parochial, and home schools should be allowed and encouraged to flourish in a decentralized manner. By keeping it decentralized it makes it much more difficult for an aspiring tyrant to take them over.

It's time to starve the collectivist monkeys. Any monkey can choose to be a man. Most of these won't. To the tune of perhaps 90%.

No. Not until it is too late. In the camps and on the way to the camps they will blame President Bush. Their last consciounce thought will be, “This is Bush’s fault.”

.... its true cost may be that it triggers the eventual breakup of the country.

That is exactly what it was designed to do.

The only thing tyrants and their sycophants respect is being at the business end of physical force. Until Americans do this nothing will change.

I think America is rejecting this socialist grafting like the bad organ transplant that it is.

That gives me hope. If the Supreme Court comes through with some payback for Obama’s State of the Union insults, we can move back to the center.

In the meantime, the states are awakening...

If we split into two pieces - those that accept the Constitution (with some additions - limit on taxation, flat tax, define many of the issues of our day and write in an original intent clause), well, leave the handful of liberal states who want to marry whatever strikes their fancy and pursue communism to themselves - they’ll fail soon enough...

Give them nothing! leave them nothing! Make them fight for everything and take it away from them as soon as they achieve it!

Tremendous article. Kuhner articulates so well the frustration and resentment that is building. I’ve often thought the talk of CW was just hyperbole, that somehow it would work out. I’m not so convinced now, this thing could well boil over.

How do you want your capitalism? Under the control of the elite of centralized government under the guise of Communism or to the individual by way of free enterprise?

A lot of us Yanks are God lovin’, country lovin’, gun totin’ folks, too.

The Mason-Dixon line is too much. Let’s give them Detroit. Move all of them into that one shit hole and build a wall around it.
