I know how you feel....I’m also that way sometimes....
You have to deal with the mommy screaming to the press and the community that you murdered her baby. And the outrage of the community who wants to send you to prison over you killing a 12 year old.
So it comes down to keeping your mouth shut, dealing with the stress and paying a lot of money for a good lawyer.
Also watching what you say to others from now on - you don't want to casually say anything that might come back to haunt you later if you do have to use deadly force to defend your life.

Which is why I am a firm believer in carrying Mace and/or pepper spray when out as well as my concealed pistal license. One of the best self defense weapons is a sturdy walking stick. You can swing that up to someones head quicker than they can draw a gun if you have had some practice at it.
This was Killadelphia, not New York, my love. A considerably tougher city with more “Amish” in its population % wise.
