Mexican drug traffickers cement grip in US----with help from Congress.........

Over and above the millions who violate our borders, 1.5 million legal foreign workers come to the US each year, as a matter of course.

But this number isn’t high enough for Dem Cong Gutierrez and his 92 co-sponsors. Their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill includes a provision called “recapture” that will add up all the supposedly “unused” work visas since 1992 and issue them immediately.

This is a complete fraud, as all unused work visas are rolled over to the family reunification category the next year as it is.

Gutierrez' Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill will create 100,000 visas from countries that send the most illegal immigrants every year. According to the State Department, this will mean 550,000 new foreign workers.

AND GET THIS Mexico is the staging area for Third World and other illegals preparing to violate our borders. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill rewards Mexico b/c they calculatedly promote illegal immigration.

Gutierrez' bill will make it much easier for more illegal aliens to break in. Under the Bill, to prove they have jobs and were in the country BEFORE Congress passed amnesty, illegals are allowed to use stolen ID's, fake green cards, and fraudulent SS numbers....... without fear of prosecution.

Mexico facilitates the profitable staging area for global illegals to cross the border. Contrary to Obama’s claim that CIR bill will increase border security, it does just the opposite.........

<> it guts successful enforcement measures,

<>limits raids on illegal immigrants,

<> prohibits use of troops on the border,

<> replaces E-Verify used to ensure employers hire legal American workers,

<> overturns all state and local US laws that crackdown on illegal immigration,

<> abolishes 287(g) that allows local L/E and federal authorities to apprehend criminal illegals.

It's not a dumb suggestion, yorkie, you're trying find solutions just like the rest of us. I don't agree with doing that though. If they go home they won't be sending money from here to there. I know it would be a small percentage but it would punish those who are here legally for sending money to Mexico.

On the other hand if Mexico were designated a narco-terrorist state by our State Dept., not likely with this administration but not unreasonable the way things are going, it would be justifiable to prohibit funds from going there perhaps.

We just need to enforce the laws we have and stop the entitlements and I believe the problem would dry up as the motivation to come here dried up.

The incident I know about was a teacher at Animas,NM school and she and her husband had a ranch. They

were murdered by 4 illegals- the story was her husband had already been murdered when she arrived at the ranch and she had a stack of papers to be graded and tried to protect herself by holding up the children’s papers. Darnell was the sheriff then and a real no nonsense salt of the earth man. I heard him say once that was a heartbreaking scene that he would never forget. I know at least some of the illegals that murdered that ranching couple were apprehended but that was before this country became so PC.

It is time for us to control this border- no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Our politiicians need to be told plainly that this needs to end now and our border needs to be secured.

That was the last time anyone heard from him.

Investigators located Krentz alongside his dog who we understand had been shot.

The hacks in DC care as much about Rancher Rob Krentz as they do about white farmers in Zimbabwe and South Africa. And I mean ail of them, Democrat and Republican. OK you have a few good Republicans in the House such as Ted Poe

These ranchers need to carry the modern version of the Winchester rifle. The AR-15 Carbine. The also need to view everyone as a possible threat.

That is not a very good way to live! Granted circumstance has left them no alternative, but that is a sorry way to live!

AuntB, folks just aren’t listening. They see this as hype to a certain degree and continue to elect people who sell them out on a regular basis. You see it rightcheer on this forum.

People mean well, but they get a burr under their saddle and they go off half-cocked.

Rationality is in short supply these days. Keep shoveling it onto the forum. Perhaps someone will plant some daisies.

http://www.tucsonweekly.com/TheRange/archives/2010/03/28/cochise-county-rancher-murdered

eo W. Banks, who has been covering border issues for years, brings us news that Rob Krentz was killed yesterday in the Chiricahua Corridor.

Leo—who has written about the Krentz family before (see here)—says:

Cochise County rancher Rob Krentz was shot and killed on his ranch some time Saturday, presumably by a drug smuggler.

The death, which being investigated as a homicide, occurred in the San Bernardino Valley, part of the Malpais region. The event has rocked the towns of Douglas and Portal, and the ranches in between, both of which have been under siege by cross-border smugglers for years.

As the Weekly has reported, the situation in the so-called Chiricahua Corridor has deteriorated lately, leaving residents fearful that an episode of this kind was inevitable. The grief is great for the Krentz family and their many friends throughout Southeast Arizona; Krentzes have been ranching in Cochise County for more than a century.

The Weekly has received word that a representative for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has placed calls to Cochise County, trying to set up a community meeting, either Monday or Tuesday at 11 a.m., possibly at the Apache School. The Giffords’ rep making the arrangements said it is possible she will ask the president to place military units in the besieged area

A source tells the Weekly the practical impact of Giffords’ actions might be small, but at least she is paying attention. The source said, “Kolbe laughed at us when we complained, and McCain worries about getting his patent leather shoes dirty when he’s down here.”

Sadly there are many such stories- most were not reported. Those that happened before the internet became in wide use are mostly known only to locals. It is past time to get the word out, especially now that Mexico is the new Colombia and totally out of control.
