AuntB, folks just aren’t listening. They see this as hype to a certain degree and continue to elect people who sell them out on a regular basis. You see it rightcheer on this forum.
People mean well, but they get a burr under their saddle and they go off half-cocked.
Rationality is in short supply these days. Keep shoveling it onto the forum. Perhaps someone will plant some daisies.

And some don’t mean well at all. They’re happy to see this country go down the tube for one race, one prospective candidate, or whatever neurotic reason.
