“And if it is verified by FEC records, then Steele will have to explain and/or resign.”

His butt should be fired by the end of the day if true. The Dems would be all over this is if true one would think.

But who knows. Will wait to see if true.

How exactly does the RNC chair get fired? What’s the process?

Michael Steele is pretty much a down the line conservative. Pro-life, anti-gay marriage, low taxes, anti- cap and tax.

Bullhockey. Right up until the moment he decided to run for RNC Chairman he was part of Christie Todd Whitman's organization which is wholly dedicated to electing pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-gay-marriage, socialists.

Wake up.

How about we fire him regardless of the sex club accusation? While the accusation sounds dubious to me, even if true it doesn't lower my opinion of him. Granted my opinion couldn't have gotten much lower...and what the heck at least it would mean he was heterosexual. If I had to choose whether he was going to spend my tax dollars jet setting all over America to spread RINO ideals or spending my money in strip club, honestly I'm going to go with strip club.

Are you kidding me? I don’t have any objection to flying first class when they use their own money...It’s a lousy steward that uses the money of others to appear ‘first class’ and a lousy human being on top of that. It is vanity and self centeredness...lousy traits in people and by and large the reason we have such corruption.

Frankly, if the head of Ford traveled coach to negotiate with the Japenese, they would probably be impressed. They are a very humble people (or used to be)and all of our ‘glitz’ does not impress.

I’m talking about support for extremely liberal Republicans which has been going on for years. Scott Brown is just the latest manifestation.

Here is a link to the the disclosure form:

http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcdev/forms/C00003418/457070/sb/ALL/2

So it did happen. That said, you can't tell from the disclosure form if this was Steele himself, or just some knucklehead staffer misusing a RNC credit card. That said, who ever it was needs to be fired. ASAP.

Two points...

Still, the nature and size of Steele’s expenses are likely to reignite persistent complaints from high-end donors and key party figures that the RNC is bleeding cash in the months before a pivotal midterm election. Several months into Steele’s term as chairman, his spending spurred Republican committeemen to pass a resolution requiring checks to be signed by at least two RNC officers, and contracts over $100,000 to go out to competitive bidding.

That tells me the people on the inside know he's pissing money away....

A March 20 FEC filing shows the RNC has $9.5 million cash on hand. Steele began his tenure with $22.8 million, and has since raised $96.2 million. During the same period, however, the RNC has spent $109.6 million, for a deficit of $13.4 million. That spending included aid to the campaigns that elected Gov. Bob McDonnell in Virginia and Gov. Chris Christie in New Jersey.

How much was given to Christie and McDonnell? I know for a fact that the RNC gave Scott Brown next to nothing in Jan.And IIRC they didn't help until the very last minute when polls showed Brown was ahead. Any money raised should have been put away for this fall's campaign.

Michael Steele is a RINO Maryland Republican insider who’s flipped and flopped all over the place.

He did study for the priesthood before he got into politics.

Yeah. But he got out when he heard that the church won't expense visits to lesbian sex clubs.

The japanese are impressed by status not by flying coach. We can’t have a World class economy unless we have the richest brightest and most effective management.

Ford took no bailout money, I hope they put their corporate jet(s) to good use.

You aren’t impressing me by trashing Scott Brown . I think he is a good guy and as conservative as a Senator from Massachusetts can be.

He’s a pro-abortion socialist. He helped craft and pass RomneyCare in MA.

You may think folks like that are “good guys,” but I don’t.

I was listening to a Reagan biographer on Dennis Praeger. He was discussing all the liberal republican senators Reagan had trouble with, like Lowell Weicker of Connecticut. It was quite a list.

But here’s the rub. They were all from states that haven’t seen republican senators in decades now. Illinois, Connecticut, etc.

Yes I hope we get them back with conservative republicans, but it would have been nice to have some more republicans in the senate.

Affirmative Action.

Doesn’t work for the left (Obama). Doesn’t work for the right (Steele).
