Security officials in Russia say they have made important breakthroughs in the investigation into the fatal bombing of the Moscow metro.
Russian police say video surveillance has revealed the two suspected suicide bombers had accomplices.
They are searching for two women and a man seen with the suspected bombers at a metro station outside central Moscow on the morning of the attack.
Moscow's Echo radio is also reporting there is new evidence that links the suspects to Chechnya.
The station says a private bus driver has confirmed he drove the suspected bombers and a man from the Chechen capital, Grozny, to Moscow.
Last month a Chechen militant leader warned that war would be coming to Russian cities.
The developments come as Russians observe a day of mourning for the 39 people killed in the twin suicide bombings.
People have been lighting candles and laying flowers in memory of the victims of Monday's peak-hour attacks.
President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered increased security and suggested anti-terrorism laws could be reformed.
Prime minister Vladimir Putin has visited the injured at a hospital in Moscow and says law enforcement agencies will do everything to find and punish the criminals.
He ordered security forces to find the organisers, saying they should be "scraped out from the bottom of the sewers".
"We know that they [the organisers] are lying low," he said, quoted by the ITAR-TASS and RIA-Novosti state news agencies.
"But it is now a matter of honour for the security forces to scrape them out from the bottom of the sewers and bring them out into the light of day.

The Russians need to make it a practice to cremate the suicide bombers’ bodies with pigs entrails and to hunt down the Chechen Mohammedans who are behind these plots, give them fair trials, cover them in pigs guts, execute them, and then cremate their remains with the pig guts. And then, and only then, tell the other Mohammedans they can expect the same fate if they want.

Here’s how they recruit women ‘suicide’ bombers in Iraq.
Find a woman with 2 children. Cut one child’s throat in front of her, and let the child bleed to death while the mother watches in horror. Tell her the next child will meet the same fate unless she detonates herself. Swear, in the name of the pig Mohammed and Allah that if she does as instructed, the remaining child will be left to grow old, and will receive some cash ‘gift’.

I read they recovered the head and legs of one of the female bombers - wonder if they buried her in a pigskin bag? So much for her trip to paradise.

I spent some fifteen hours in bed. Under the weather with a bad head and chest cold. Lots of backup reading on the posts I bookmarked from you of recent. Especially the one with ETL’s comments regarding how Russia has played both sides of the fence in regards to the Islam issues.

Back in the late 80s, the General of SRF suggested the use of an “Urban renewal bomb” (nukes, for you folks in RIo Linda) to ‘resolve the situation’.
The more things change, the more they remain the same.
Last note, I am willing to bet that the autopsy shows the ‘bombers’ were higher than a kite of Ecstasy or other narcotic before they began their journey to “Pair-o-dice”
Whether we look at trafficking drugs in Afghanistan or Turkey, running infidel female prostitution rings in the Balkans or countless other criminal enterprises around the world we find Muslim groups justifying themselves on religious grounds. "Muslim Mafia" is more than the title of a recent book on Muslim operations in the US.
As to Chechen separatist terrorism, the Chechens are Muslims who see their religion as a central part of their identity and distinction from the Russians. Many of their leaders take the title "Mufti" and they all wrap themselves in the same Islamic religiosity. Think back to the Beslan school massacre and the Moscow theater massacre in the 1990s. The groups who carried out these terrorist acts called themselves "martyr battalions" and were mostly Chechens but also included Arab, Algerian, Saudi & British Muslims.
And even if autopsies on the 2 terrorists from this subway bombing turn up drugs that does not disprove Islamic motivation. Our word "assassin" is derived from "Hashshashin" which mean hashish user and referred to a Muslim cult of assassins who used the drug.
My story came from an interview of a woman who was intercepted by Israeli Mossad; who also rescued her son from the terrorists. Netflix has several independant movies for viewing in their 'Documentary' section.
The story the woman told was simple. She had a baby and a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old. Terrorists kicked down her door, took the 5 yr old and cut his throat, nearly removing his head, with a knife and let he watch his death. They they held the knife against the throat of her 2 yr old and told her that if she didn't take the baby and a blow herself up with the baby, that they would kill all of them. If she complied, they promised that the 2 yr would live. What would you do? There is a reason why a mother will blow herself up, along with a 3 month old baby - and it has nothing to do with her religious zeal.
Horrible. I know they’re monsters but why do the people of those countries stomach them I wonder.
