This poll from (suprise) 60 Minuest and Vanity Fair is a perfect example of how you can get people to say whatever you want them to say, as long as you phrase the question correctly. The idea that more than half of this country would accept a gay president is, of course laughable, when you consider the number of general state votes that have rejected gay marriage. It also speaks to the fact that people generally give the politically correct answer to polling question (as the Dems were so fond of pointing out when Obama was running). If normal sexual preferrences didn't matter to voters, we certainly would have had more than one unmarried CIC in the past 234 years.

Okay, I get the appeal of a Miss America who’s not only smoldering hot but likes girls in, you know, that way [cue the vintage porn flick bow-chicka-bow-wow]. But the notion of an NFL QB who likes to get under the center both on and off the field...I don’t know that I need that in my head. And as to a gay president...I think the bad ones are perfectly capable of screwing more people at one time than they could ever stick their junk in anyway.
As far as the director for my biopic...John Landis. And Harold Ramis does the screenplay.

They don’t mention this was an internet poll. Anybody going to the CBS site could click and vote.

You do not see a glaring difference between being against gay marriage and not caring what a leader’s sexual affiliation is????

Oh good, Obama can come out of the closet and save his poll numbers now.

More people define being rich as earning at least $300,000 a year. More proof that I don't live in America, I live in New York City. $300K makes you upper middle class, at best.
