Instead, far too many teachers have abandoned their roles as imparters of knowledge for the lazy hackery of social justice activists. As they say, there are two kinds of rabbis: Those who preach social justice and those who can read Hebrew. Same with math teachers.
Most of my math and science teachers in my Catholic high school were pretty lame, but one exception was my Chemistry teacher, who happened to be a fugitive from Castro and a truly outstanding individual in every way. Escalante reminds me of him.
