A Florida teacher and his son have been arrested on child pornography charges, MyFoxOrlando.com reports.
Fifty-eight-year-old Dale Chisena Sr. -- a teacher for more than 30 years -- and his 22-year-old son, Dale Chisena Jr., were arrested at their Orange County home after authorities located images of child porn during a routine investigation and traced the images back to the Chisena residence.
Authorities say 1,000 images of child pornography were found, including images of female children appearing to be infants.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself) The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The second grade teacher has been put on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation by the Orange County Public Schools. Of course. Free vacation.

"were arrested at their Orange County home after authorities located images of child porn during a routine investigation and traced the images back to the Chisena residence."Sounds like a sick person, but something seems strange about the above statement. Routine investigation that traced images back to a home computer? Hummmm, did he have a web site hosted at his home, or one of the file sharing programs? Just seems strange.

Hard to fathom. A technical point, these could be photos of infants but not someone abusing them. I hope that’s the case.

It’s obviously the pope’s fault.

Sick. Chemical castration for them. Who could possibly look at a child as a sex object? Only someone who’s brain is seriously messed up.
To: MovementConservative
Not chemical.
And that’s only the start, in my book.

I can think of another method of castration that would be better.

If you take any photos of a baby in a bathtub, you could get turned in by the person developing the photo. I want a bit more info on the pictures before I recommend castration.

well you are correct the problem here is they seem to have collected 1,000 photos. It may well be that the perverts collect and trade “normal” baby photos. Then again, they may take and trade more explicit photos. That would be more egregious.
Interestingly, my understanding of the law is their perversion has nothing to do with it, the photo itself is either child porn or not.
So a wacko with 1,000 normal photos of kids can get his jollies, unless at least one of the photos is a “lascivious display”. And a normal person with one qualifying bathtub photo of their own child could be convicted.

Pictures of naked kids aren’t illegal. They have to be DOING SOMETHING sexual. Just do a google image search.
