Just a WSJ headline at this point:
ADP (the payroll services company) says 23,000 private-sector jobs were shed in the U.S. in March.
You guessed it: Surprising. Unexpected. Blah, blah, blah.

Who cares? We’ll all be working for the government of the USSA soon enough, comrade.
Expectations were for a gain of 50,000.
LOL. Does someone actually pay for these forecasts. Nice work if you can get it.
Unemployment figures for March, 2010 to be released on Friday, April 2nd.
Hold on to your butts!
Communism Kills
Story after story about layoffs. Many in the public sector.
I recall a FReeper once saying that we would be looking back on 2008 like they were the good ol’ days.

Our nation cannot sustain this march into socialism without some form of warfare. They must take great masses of capital from someone. Obama and his comrades have chosen their own people.
March was another bell weather month for O’bama. The ratings for “The Barry Show” during the March sweeps will continue their unexpected growth, but for some reason the unemployment figures will remain at 9.7% or fall.
Kind of like living on the set of The Truman Show or Groundhog Day, isn’t it.
So, I would think that would represent the numbers ADP is associated with, and not the overall picture.
Wondering what percentage of the employment picture ADP does represent.
Perfect.
My wife’s employer (electrical contractor) just laid off another three people and put everyone else on mandatory furloughs. Everyone has to take an unpaid week off between now and June 30, and then another 2 weeks unpaid between July 1 and the end of the year. The word “overtime” is blasphemy and will not be tolerated.
Here in SW Washington, the unemployment rate for February was just a hair under 15%. It’s anyone’s guess what the actual rate is, and there is absolutely nothing happening in this area that will generate anywhere near the number of jobs we need to keep our heads above water.
That's a new adjective.
Some are predicting that due to fudging the numbers, and temporary census workers, the job(less) news on Friday will be good news fodder for the Obamanation, so be prepared for that.
I’m prepared for anything. :)
I'd add 10% to whatever BS the gubmint is putting out. The desk next to their's has a another bureaucrat sitting at it reading the paper so things are good according to the gubmint.
You can believe their numbers as much as Congress'
Dingy Harry at the mic celebrating the loss of these 23K jobs in 3...2...1...
Just wait till the April numbers come out next month. When all the companies figure out what the financial implications are of that “health” care thing. When they start taking accounting hits and conclude it’s much easier to lay off more people.
At a certain point even the most diehard libturds will wake up when it’s hitting them personally. It will be a critical mass thing. The White House and the state run media will be working overtime to spin it.
