Posted on 03/31/2010 6:51:07 AM PDT by marstegreg

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 33% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8 (Huh?)

The American public must still be hungover from the health care bill party. I suppose this shows that militia news isn’t important; nor is Obama’s signing of an executive order to emplace Cap&Tax.

The Democrat base is temporarily high due to the passage of DeathPanelCare. Look at the graphs - his strong disapproval continues to hold steady or rise slightly, but his strongly approve has gone up a lot.

In short the people who don’t like him still don’t like him, but the people who already like him like him a lot more, at least temporarily.

I would suggest suicide. A one day move is obviously everything you need to know about a rolling daily poll. Yep, suicide. We are doomed.

You are silly, I’m just scratching my head trying to figure what justifies this bump. I’m figuring the media (bias) coverage might have had some effect. I dunno.

Of course he gets a bump from this. And that’s what he was telling the wobbly dems beforehand.

Now not only does he look like a real leader to the sheeple who will follow anything, but now the wobbly dems will also fall in line even more so as we move forward.

Fascism is really popular at the beginning, because everybody loves a “winner”. (OBL: “...will follow the strong horse.”)

But think about this: Hitler was still wildly popular among many, even at the bitter end of the war.

Don’t count on zombies who have been in Obama’s “approve” column to ever switch to “strongly disapprove.”

Till they want their next fix of someone else’s work and money.

I’ve said it before:

The healthcare debate is out of the news, the sheeple are happy. In fact, the MSM is telling the sheeple this is one of the best things to ever happen to their country. This will result in a contented, slumbering electorate.

The Dem losses in November will be minimal, and the slide into communisim continues unrestrained.

And as if the Republicans needed another obstacle, the party claiming they will be fiscally responsible, has their leadership blowing money at lesbian bondage clubs, among other things.

Temporary blip.

Don’t sweat it.

He still is more unpopular than popular and for some reasons, segments of the population which are really angry with Congress, fail to see his actions as manipulative of Congress’ behavior.

Look at Nancy Pelosi’ ratings.

And remember, there will always be a sgement of the population - blacks and some Hispanics who will always support Obama’s policies from a racial perspective, and Democrats who will always support him.

The independents are up for grabs and are tending towards us.

Obama gets temporary points for his Afghanistan visit and talk to the troops. It's the first time I've heard him sound committed since he promised a “post-partisan” America after his South Carolina primary win.

I’m just scratching my head trying to figure what justifies this bump.

In his own words at his celebration dinner, bin Laden laid out bluntly his theory of power: "When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse."

In my opinion, this is just a fluke. These things happen. The political attacks on peaceful Americans by the radical left will eventually wear off once people notice they're lies. Oboma will look even worse. No one likes being deceived.
People are going to be pretty upset once they figure it out. Give it a few days. Sometimes it takes a while for people to notice.
