Who is more of a threat, left-wing crazies or right-wing crazies? By far the left wing crazies. WTO riots, convention riots, Copenhagen riots to name just a few. Name a right wing riot.

Why should Eugene’s POV surprise anyone? For Stalin, the enemies were all on the right, too.

Actually Eugene Robinson, you are correct there is no equivalence between right-wing and left-wing wingnuts.
The Left has far more of them and they are far more violent. Most of the time, they enshrine them in governments.
cf. Che Guevara, Mao, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Fidel, Assad, etc. etc.
Do your homework, you race-baiting ignoramus!

Once again NewsWeak demonstrates it leftist bias.
Extremists sitting in the White House, Congress and Czarships are far more dangerous to the Republic than a handfull of radicals anywhere.

violent Christian militia group How are they violent? The FBI CLAIMS that they threatened to kill someone--a Muslim or a cop, they haven't quite got their story straight yet. But how can they be described as "violent"? They haven't killed anyone, or beat up anyone, or broken any windows, or burned any cars, as far as I've heard. If they had, I'm sure the FBI and the media would be telling us all about it. I looked up their website as soon as they mentioned the word "Hutaree." Personally, I'd be a bit inclined to call them kooks. But violent? Nonsense. There's been a fair amount of political violence around the world recently. All of it came from the left, or from Muslims, as far as I've heard.

So far these fools managed to talk trash and play with guns in the woods AND attract an FBI informant and that is it. The Animal Liberation Front and Eco Terrorists did more actual damage.
The reason this type of miscreant gets more media play is that it suits the political agenda of writers like Maddow.

In a Washington Post op-ed, Eugene Robinson argues that for the past few decades the most serious threat of domestic terrorism has come from those who draw inspiration and rhetoric from the far right. The Weather Underground bombed the Pentagon in the 1970s. The Weather Underground robbed banks to fund their activities in the 1980s.
What decade is Eugene starting with and who's he calling "right wing"?

It is really simple. Any group of American citizens who wish to assemble (e.g. Tea Party) and protest autocratic acts of a once Constitutionally limited government will be branded as dangerous to the social and political order of this country. All fringe elements will be amalgamated into an assembly of these citizens thus defining them.
Truth is, freedom loving American citizens are dangerous to this current government and rightfully so. Rebellion is not far away if trends continue. The question is in what form will it take and by what means will it be quelled?

All genocidal murder and violence comes from the left.
Chicoms: 96 million murdered
Soviet Union Commies: 66 million murdered
National Socialists: 20 million murdered
Communist Vietnam 3 million murdered
Khmer Rouge Cambodia 3 million murdered
It is a fact that all genocide and nearly all mass murder come from the left and Islam, the farther left and the more the homosexual influence, the more the murder.

It is dishonest for right-wing commentators to insist on an equivalence that does not exist, writes Robinson. The danger of political violence in this country comes overwhelmingly from one directionthe right, not the left. The vitriolic, antigovernment hate speech that is spewed on talk radio every day During the Bush admin. 99% of the "vitriolic, anti-government hate speech" on talk radio was spewed by the Left, and it was quite commonplace. But did Newsweek or any other left-wing rag write articles about it? Of course not.

It is interesting to note that the left insists on calling people like the slimeball at Ft. Hood as “alleged blah blahs”. However, no “alleged” is necessary when talking about this militia, despite the fact that they have, apparently, never done anything except run their mouths.
