I am still betting that they are almost all girls.

Please take this thread off. I didn’t see the warning: very upsetting.

The same media that refused to show a single dead body from the 9-11 attacks has no difficulty releasing images like these, collateral damage from US bombing raids, or pictures of dead US soldiers.

They oppose the exhibition of photos of aborted fetuses and the outrage is now brewing even over sonogram images of LIVE fetuses.

Very sad. No respect for humans while alive, or after death.

That’s what happens to a “useless eater” in a Commie-State.

It’s just their “culture” we should be more “sensitive”...

Said in a Savage-esque way.

I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE YOU DIDN’T POST A WARNING ON THIS PICTURE.

MY SON HAD A DROWNING ACCIDENT, AND THIS SCENE HORRIFIED ME.

SHAME ON YOU FREE REPUBLIC.

I’ve spent years living in Asia, and have seen some shocking practices. This is really extreme. Two points only: 1) 99% of Chinese would also be appalled at this (although acting on it or publicly working to hold someone responsible is a different story) 2) Based on past experience, AP is merely guessing - they usually have no clue as to what is really happening, esp. in a place like China.

I’d like a warning sooner too. I have to break myself from eating at the computer. Put the warning on the title please.

Yeh, I had a hard time posting the picture myself. But like you said, this picture is on the front page of the Yahoo news story with no warning at all.

Maybe this type of shock and awe is necessary to realize that the Chinese are still a 3rd World country and it is disturbing that their influence is spreading so quickly. There are so many different attributes of China that should make us worry about the future of the Free World.

Let’s remember, Hitler didn’t come about until the Great Depression. With all of the added elements from one-party control to censorship to group think, a cataclysmic event could lead China to assert its power and colonize parts of the World.

Sorry, I guess I am kind of new to forums. I will make sure to be more careful in the future.

I tried to create literally 10 lines of ‘WARNING,’ but I kept going over the limits allowed for an excerpted story.

Once again, sorry to anyone that was offended.

“I am still betting that they are almost all girls.”

I am betting you are correct. What’s the ratio for under 40’s? I think I read it’s about 80 females per 100 males. Young males are having to venture over to neighboring countries to find wives. Should be an interesting study to observe how this plays out.

“The traditions stem from China’s agrarian past, where child deaths were common, and not considered something to dwell on.”

I think back in the pioneer days the same could have been said for us on the large numbers of children that died from diesease. I think they treated them with respect though.

“The traditions stem from China’s agrarian past, where child deaths were common, and not considered something to dwell on.”

“The traditions stem from China’s agrarian past, where child deaths were common, this practice was continued and even promoted with the “progressive” Mao and his cultural revolution, and not considered something to dwell on in pinko commie China.”

There, I Fixed it!
