Drill, baby, drill.
Will never happen. Guaranteed.
As one of the talking heads on TV pointed out - he took ten steps in the other direction when he took office, and this is merely a half step back.

I’m sorry, but if Obama announced that the sun would rise tomorrow - I would have my doubts.

I get the feeling that this drill for oil thing is just another worthless political stunt.

There isn’t any mention who would be allowed to drill. . . domestic or foreign countries. Also, doesn’t the withdrawal of leasing rights in Alaska damage the Alaskan economy? Whatever Obama touches hurts the economy in this country.

If he meant it, the greens would already be hanging him in effigy in front of the White House. Not to mention Madam Pelosi who has big wind power and Cap & Tax dollars to protect. The lyin’ Kenyon is at it again.

President Øbama's decision to open up the nation's shores to new oil drilling drew complaints from both sides of the aisle Wednesday, as environmentalists and congressional Republicans alike claimed the move would do little for America's energy independence.

Really? whatta guy, eh?

WASHINGTON, July 14, 2008
Bush Lifts Ban On Offshore Drilling

(CBS/ AP) Putting pressure on congressional Democrats to back more exploration for oil, President Bush on Monday lifted an executive ban on offshore drilling that has stood since his father was president.

Once again the worthless POS Fearless Reader takes credit for the gutsy move of that evil "GW."

Coward.

If they drill, it has to be somewhere there is no known oil.
And then if they find any, it will be shut down like that.

It would be nice to see him drill something other than the American people for a change.

Our shuck and jive Pres__ent has turn a new phase with lying to cover his lies. ZerO dashes off to Afghanistan to give cover to his weekend recess appointments and, now, he announces using domestic energy to cover for his coming dictatorial CO2 caps.

Obama should have lost the trust of 100% of all Americans with a brain when he signed the Porkulus.

Feints are maneuvers designed to distract or mislead, done by giving the impression that a certain maneuver will take place, while in fact another, or even none, will.

Obama mentioning offshore drilling is a feint.

Period.

To: Kaslin; All

I was listening to Mark Levin tonight on the way home from work. I was stunned at what he said .. but I can clearly see that he’s probably correct.

What he said was basically this: This is a game, because Obama has already made a plan with the EPA (and given them standing to sue), that as soon as Obama made the announcement about the drilling, they were to file their law suit.

The reason they are doing this is to make the drilling a moot point. It gives Obama cover - because he can propose the drilling (and look like a good guy) KNOWING IT WILL NEVER COME TO PASS .. BECAUSE .. BECAUSE .. WAIT FOR IT .. BECAUSE THEY WILL TIE IT UP IN COURT FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS.

Mark went on to tell that this was going on when he was working for Reagan. It was just that Reagan wouldn’t play their game.

So .. if anybody was the least bit excited about our being able to drill baby drill .. don’t waste your time.

This is just more of the left’s total deception - and they think we’re too stupid to figure this stuff out.
