One would think that anarchists would be on board with protesting excessive taxes and government intervention in healthcare.

The Jawa Report posted this call to arms from the violent anarchists at Infowars today:You're misrepresenting what is said at the website.
On April 15th thousands of right-wingers will attend rallies in cities and towns across the United States. The organizers of this nationwide day of protest call it a tea party. This tea party movement that emerged only a year ago is a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers. If the tea party movement continues to grow in size and strength there is a big chance they will dominate this country in the near future.
Alex Jones runs Infowars and he's one of the people they're railing against.

They tried to get people interested in doing this last year, and it was a huge dud.
My guess is the people they are trying to recurit think twice about it when they realize most Tea Partiers are big fans of gun rights and concealed carry. Just go on the site and remind them that may Tea Partiers showed up last year openly carrying weapons. If you want to add a touch of sarcasm, tell them nobody actually got shot, except for that one guy that yelled at a Tea Partier.

If the tea party movement takes over this country they will really hurt poor people by getting rid of social programs like food stamps, unemployment benefits, disability benefits, student aid, free health care, etc. The tea party movement will say these programs must be gotten rid of because hard-working taxpayers cannot afford to pay for these things especially when the economy is in a depression.I thought Obama said we pulled away from being in a depression.

Somehow, I don’t think pro-government, pro-tax activists can legitimately claim the title “anarchist.”

Sounds like the Tea Party Movement, going forward, needs to have a combination of concealed and open carry, depending on the laws of the locality. If those laws totally forbid firearms (i.e. Washington, DC) then sturdy canes, telescoping batons, hatpins, walking sticks, broomhandles on signs, etc. should be carried. Specially equipped riot police have trouble with the anarchists, and didn’t I read that people who attend Tea Parties are all over 60?

At the Palin Tea party the other day when Sarah asked the kid to stick around he might learn something. I didnt notice any guards or security helping the kid to find the door . He was admirably helped by the folks in the audience.
Anarchist’s may find they will be helped likewise.
