Terri Schiavo's Family Boycotts Fox's Family Guy Sponsors After Attack

I have heard of some low deeds in my time, but this one takes the cake. Heck, I never watch TV anyhow, but I will boycott FOX as a result of this abomination.

O - M - G. I can’t stand that show but never thought the writers could stoop this low.

In the much saner, good old days, the problem of “edgy” juvenile punks like Seth McFarlane was solved with a simple, direct punch in the nose.

In McFarlane's case, the adjective edgy is an understatment.
The Man has absolutely NO respect for life or disabled people.

Like another FReeper said once,
"Don't wrestle with pigs. You'll just get more muddy [and humiliated] and the pigs will enjoy it."

What kind of people watch that s*(t show? I don’t get it - what redeeming quality is to be had by watching stupid TV shows.

I don’t watch TV and I certainly wouldn’t watch Family Guy, but if anyone can provide a list of the sponsers I would gladly join this boycott.

Yeah, but “edgy” is not my term.

It is the admiring descriptor deployed by “progressives” everywhere, to descibe “art” which by any reasonable standard, lacks decency, taste and talent.

As long as it possesses the essential attribute of being utterly outrageous, it is considered “brave”.

I wonder if Limbaugh is rethinking his participation?

I'm waiting for Family Guy to spoof the Holocaust. Then we can laugh while animated Jews are led to the showers to be gassed. Then Family Guy can poke fun at late-term abortions when we can be amused while abortionists chop fully developed human beings into little pieces.

“I’m waiting for Family Guy to spoof the Holocaust.”

###

Will never happen. McFarlane won’t dare go there.

On the other hand, Christians being tortured and thrown to the lions, sure.

This makes me throw up and not just a little in my mouth.
What has happened to our country? Have the demons taken over?

“Will never happen. McFarlane won’t dare go there.”

Don’t be so sure; he has spoofed Hitler more than once by making him look like a “regular” guy (even made him look like a victim in an early episode), and he has already smacked the Jewish around for his folly (remember “I Need A Jew”?).

FG writing was funny once. For several seasons now, the writing has apparently been nothing but college-age dares.

I say it’s time to pull the plug on FG. Fox did it once, they can do it again.
