Thanks, I’ll be Flying into Dulles, Staying in Reston. Plan on taking the Metro to the Mall. Motel has shuttles to airport and Metro. I wont be bringing any signs on the plane but plan to find an Office Depot or Wally world somewhere close to the motel.

That’s based off the raffle count. There was way more than that as well as some Counter-Protesters.
I like that they will be stopping in the town Michael Moore currently calls home, Traverse City, Michigan.

Great pictures. One thing I’ve noticed in every single Tea Party picture: there’s no trash anywhere. Nothing on the ground either during or after the event. That says the Tea Partiers are responsible adults, even if they’re “seven years old and up to their eyeballs in debt.” (Loved that one!)
My poor old eyes keep seeing the same thing, darn it.
A reasonably sized long stick or telescopic rod with a camera placed on the top set with a timer to snap pictures should get good shots.
This is close to how I got this shot at the Phoenix Tea party. I used a camera tripod fully extended and then held it up high.
Hey, the camera tripod held up high worked great! Good job! It’s nice to “see” that tea party turnouts are more accurately represented.. The media prefers to show crowds of no more than 15 or so.. We all know the TRUTH.
