GOP fears backlash over health care stance

April 1, 2010

WASHINGTON — Top Republicans are starting to worry about their health care rallying cry “Repeal the bill.’’ It just might singe GOP candidates in November’s elections, they fear, if voters begin to see benefits from the new law.

Democrats, hoping the GOP is indeed positioning itself too far to the right for the elections, are taking note of every Republican who pledges to fight for repeal. Such a pledge might work well in conservative-dominated Republican primaries, they say, but it could backfire in the fall if more moderate voters turn out.

Let the marxists keep trying to justify their nationalization of the medical insurance and student loan industry, it doesn't matter, because it will not stand, and all that is lacking is conservative leadership that has the guts to call that collection of socialist crook sex pervert baby killer trial lawyer trade unionist scum in the democrat party exactly what they are, and not let them hide behind "progressive" and "liberal".

"You are seeing today an all out attempt to marshal the forces of the opposition, using not merely the communists, or their fellow travelers-the deluded liberals, the eggheads, and some of my good friends in both the Democratic and Republican Parties who can become heros over night in the eyes of the left-wing press if they will just join with the jackal pack"

Once again the AP prints an “ wish this were true” story. Who are the Republicans who “fear a backlash”? Why aren’t they named?

The rage against both the substance and process of this bill is not abating, it is in fact growing. Dems who went home recently to “sell” the healthcare reform have instead gone into hiding.

Besides being a fabrication of the left, the story is even wrong on the substance of message of the Republicans. They are running on a “repeal and replace” message and not simply a repeal one.

Whenever the Left gets boxed in and is getting hammered by the truth they resort to the same tired old “unnamed sources” to provide relief and cover for themselves and ther hapless, hopeless followers.

New cuss word......
Years ago when I sometimes used unsavory language, I often used the expression “Bull S***.” As I grew up a bit and discovered it was not necessary to use such crude language, that expression became “BS.”

What did I really mean when I used those expressions?

I meant that something was ridiculous, or idiotic or a half truth or just stupid. It covered any number of negative formats. The dictionary defines it as: nonsense; especially: foolish insolent talk...

I have decided that I no longer will use either of those expressions in the future. When I have a need to express such feelings, I will use the word “Pelosi.”

Let me use it in a sentence. “That’s just a bunch of Pelosi.”

I encourage you to do the same. It is such a nasty sounding word, it really packs a punch, we are no longer being vulgar, and it clearly expresses our feelings. If enough of us use it, perhaps the word could be entered into the dictionary.

When on a ranch watch your step and don’t step in Pelosi. It will get on the bottom of your boot and won’t go away until the next election.

What a fitting and descriptive legacy for the Speaker of the House!

Pass it on to at least 10,000,000 people. Do not break this chain or you will get more Pelosi than you can shake a bull at.

P.S. Betcha when this new word reaches D.C., the PELOSI WILL HIT THE FAN

The Associated Press is a tool for the damn Obama administration.

Anyone with a brain knows that EVERYONE'S taxes are going up over the next several years to pay for benefits that will help about 10-20 percent of society.

Now, that said, I DO NOT LIKE PAYING MORE DAMN TAXES FOR OBAMA'S DAMN SCHEMES.

Do you?

How about adding the access to bank accounts and IRS enforcement to the list.

AP could have shortened this headline to read “GOP Fears” and pretty well summed up the Repukelican stand on all of the vital issues of our day.

Problem is, most parents don’t want to be forced to keep their grown children on their policies. My kid better be supporting himself by the age of 26. I was and I was exactly responsible in my early 20’s.

The GOP fears every-freakin-thing-under-the-sun.

Why would this be any different?

They are trying reverse psych - not on the GOP who stood against it - but on whomever reads that drivel.
