While the up coming Easter Weekend weather in the mid-Atlantic states will be delightfully warm, Thank You God, the past 3 weeks have been Good, Bad and Ugly.
In the order of being Good, Bad, and Ugly, we have the following:
THE GOOD: Week 219, March 20
There were 6 Legionnaires holding down our position this week while the FReepers were at Arlington Memorial Circle holding our own Support the Troops Rally.
They were: Glenn (USMC, Iwo Jima, WWII), Dave (Army, WWII) and friend Janet, Halsey (USMC, Korea) and Dennis (Army, Korea) and Carl (Army, Vietnam).
Pictures are by Carl.
BELOW LEFT: Dennis, Dave and Glenn enjoying the warm weather on their left flank. Glenn always says that he is a warm weather person but hes still a regular during the cold and wet Saturdays. BELOW RIGHT: Janet at the center position.
BELOW LEFT: Carl holding down the right flank BELOW RIGHT: with Halsey at Lurker Bills position.
Yes, the moonbats were out but who cares.
THE BAD: Week 220, March 27
This Saturday was "Bad" because of the chilly and windy weather after being spoiled by last weekend's "Good" weather. But the "Bad" was blunted because 3DJoy came to town for the Arlington Memorial Circle Rally, the Olney Rallies and the April 15 Tea Party, AND Lurker Bills daughter was able to make it this week after a long absence. She mentioned something about school, home work, Girls Scouts and other activities.
Patriots (9) in Olney this Saturday include Legionnaires Glenn (USMC, WWII), Halsey (USMC, Korea), Carl (Army, Vietnam), and Lurker Bill and daughter, 3DJoy, Cindy_True_Supporter, [Mrs] T and myself.

BELOW LEFT: 3DJoy waving as we set up our flags and banners. BELOW RIGHT: 3DJoy and Halsey enjoy each others company.
BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill, Glenn and L. Bills daughter. Cant wait till L. Bills grandson is old enough to join us. BELOW RIGHT: The sisters were out as usual. They are almost as determined to get their morning walk as we are to hold our Rallies. FYI, one of them had a birthday that Saturday as did one of our FReepers.
BELOW LEFT: Cindy_True_Supporter preparing for the wind and chill. BELOW RIGHT: Ready and supporting our troops.
BELOW LEFT: Carl in his warm weather gear. BELOW RIGHT: Me with Cindy_True_Supporter.
And yes again, the moonbats were out but then who cares.
THE UGLY: Week 218, March 13
UGLY is designated for chilly and rainy weather. We can deal well with the cold and snow, but rain really makes for a mess. There is the mud, rain down your neck, wet gloves and who wants to put up banners just to put dripping wet hunks of cloth in their car. Then they have to be dried out. We do put up our flags though and from our signs the cars can see who we support.
The 7 Patriots Saturday include Legionnaires Halsey (USMC, Korea), Dennis (Army, Korea), Carl (Army, Vietnam), and Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, [Mrs] T and myself.

BELOW LEFT: Halsey, Carl and Dennis braving the weather. After all the have given to our Country, they still come out on these wet days. A warm dry house is a lot more inviting than a early wet Saturday morning. NOTE: If you comparing this week to last week, Carl is wearing orange rain gear, not his orange cold weather gear. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill, you cant keep down his enthusiasm for Supporting Our Troops, no matter what the weather is.
BELOW LEFT: Cindy_True_Supporter also showing her enthusiasm. BELOW RIGHT: Me. A good cigar always helps in this weather but is sometime tough to keep it lit.
I dont remember whether the moonbats were out today. They are so exciting in their protest that I should have remembered if they were out or not. /sarc off

Happy Easter to you and all our Freeper friends and other patriots! God Bless you all for being there every weekend for our Walter Reed heroes and their families! May God spread his loving protection to all our military everywhere.
Thanks back at ya.
No dinner bus at Walter Reed tonight so we’ll be back early.
[Mr] T
WOW, three times GOOD!
NO BAD, NO UGLY, folks there!
Thanks!
You missed a good WR FReep tonight - 13 patriots!!
Will you still be around next Friday? We could use some "GOOD" help.
I expect to make it and will plan that way!
Glad you had a crowd for the nice weather. Just the beginning?
You too, Mr. and Mrs. T.
Oooooh yuck! That wet weather looks nasty!
You guys are the best.
Good deal. And once again it looks like nice weather.
Well thank you from the Olney patriots.
[Mr] T
Maryland PING!
Sorry I’ve been so busy with Easter preps, I missed this till now. Good job keeping up with your posts, even though it’s bad for us who are always eager to read about the troop support. Ugly is as ugly does. I reserve that tag for the moonbats. God bless all of you for doing the “postman” thingy.
postman thingy
Good description. Thanks
We missed your comments and were wondering where you were. Glad to read that you’re back.
Prayers going up for the miners.
[Mr] T
According to them it's a little like being in a combat zone in the military. A "brotherhood" develops among the men that means more to them than anything above ground. I thought that was interesting. That huge machine that claws tons of coal out of the vein at one grasp was a scary thing to stand beside. Also standing under the roof as they bolted it up so it wouldn't fall was interesting to say the least. I feel so blessed to have had that experience because so few people have actually been down in the mines. Even the families of miners are not allowed down there. A mine superintendent arranged for a group of us seminarians to go down in the Bethlehem Mine in Summersville, WV back in 91. That was the same year we went to a mosque in D.C. (shivers). A very unhappy place.
Indeed we must pray for the miners and their families. They know what they face every day.
Thanks for the info on the miners. I knew they were close but your personal story enhances my impression of them.
